A video has gone viral of an angry Israel partisan knocking Alison Weir’s phone out of her hand in 2011. Below is a longer video (three minutes) of what went on before that moment: Israel partisans were yelling outlandish, Islamophobic claims not based on fact. (The participants were not aware they were being filmed.)

Alison was attempting to give important facts to a prominent general, who was listening attentively to what she was sharing – this seemed to be what drew the ire of the other people in the room.

“Israel Is Not Alone” member knocks phone out of my hand – Press TV films incident

We had just completed a CNI press briefing at the National Press Club, when the next group scheduled to use the room, “Israel Is Not Alone,” began to enter. One of their members saw our signs and began a discussion with a member of the CNI group. The conversation was heated but within appropriate bounds. Another “Israel Is Not Alone” member, however, then approached the CNI man in a somewhat threatening posture and loudly began to berate him.

At that point Lt. Col Karen Kwiatkowski, who had spoken on our panel, thought she recognized the man and he was asked his name. At first he only gave his first name, Jerry, but eventually also gave his last name: Boykin.

Lt. Gen Boykin (three stars) is known for making offensive statements about Islam and supporting Israel.

For some reason, I actually thought I might be able to convince him to rethink his positions. I told him I had been born at West Point and tried to tell him about Palestine. I was holding a booklet from our press conference, and asked him fervently to read it. He didn’t say anything.

As I was trying to describe the facts, another man came up and began haranguing me. He was almost shaking with fury. He yelled that Muslims tear the fingernails off Christians and similar things. I tried to answer him, but he shouted over everything I tried to say. I got my phone out and tried to video what he was yelling at me. I then tried to resume my conversation with Boykin and tell him about my first trip to Palestine, but the man continued shouting at me, drowning out my words, so I again tried to video what he was yelling at me. He suddenly violently hit my hand and phone, knocking the phone across the room.

I was stunned. A bit shaken, I asked someone to get security, which they did. Some of the “Israel Is Not Alone” group, probably realizing that their member had just crossed a serious line and was guilty of battery, brought me the pieces of my phone (fortunately, and surprisingly, it still works). The man (I haven’t yet learned his name) proffered an unconvincing apology.

Some people have suggested that I file charges. It turns out that a Press TV crew apparently filmed the whole incident and led off with part of it on their broadcast about our conference. You can see the video and news report here.

I’m undecided about filing charges. I know that if the situation were reversed, they would do so.

I don’t know what’s behind this angry, disturbed man. Was he angry because he was spreading such venomous lies? Or is it that the people behind “Israel Is Not Alone” are exploiting a vulnerable man and intentionally creating or fueling his rage?

Tempers flared at the prestigious National Press Club in Washington, DC .

A pro Israeli advocate knocked a camera out of the hands of Alison Weir, President of the Council for the National Interest Foundation. The group just finished their press conference on what they call unjustifiable US Aid to Israel.

The two sides met when the Press Club scheduled a pro Israeli news conference to follow held in the same room. The altercation illustrates heightened tensions on differing views regarding America’s relationship with Israel.

The Council for the National Interest Foundation wants Americans to know how much of their tax dollars are going to Israel.

CNIF alleges Israel receives so much aid and special treatment because the US Congress is controlled by AIPAC, America’s pro Israel lobby. Executive director Phillip Giraldi says Israel spends a lot of money on U.S. elections.

The Council for the National Interest Foundation says many members of Congress fear, if they don’t always side with Israel, that they will face retaliation in their own re-election campaigns.

Giraldi is a former CIA counter terrorism expert. He questions why America gives aid to Israel when Israel conducts more espionage for profit against the US than any other US friendly country.

Retired Lt. Colonel Karen Kwiatkowski worked at the Pentagon and says Israel receives preferential treatment.

Kwiatkowski believes America is beginning to take more interest in US foreign policy in the Middle East in large part due to tough economic times. More and more Americans want to know where their hard earned tax dollars are going and why.

I later learned the name of my assailant: William J. Murray.

Murray is the head of something called The Religious Freedom Coalition, a fervently anti-Muslim organization. He is also, apparently, the son of infamous atheist proponent Madeline Murray O’Hare.

I consulted an attorney about the incident, and he advised me to file a police report since Murray’s actions seemed to constitute “assault and battery.”

I filed a police report and then waited and waited. Finally, the detective in charge of determining whether or not to prosecute Murray decided not to do so. The detective’s name is in another notebook somewhere. As I recall, it was Rosenbaum or something similar.

What is the truth about Palestinian Christians?

IN BRIEF: The loudest of Alison’s detractors in the video (and the one who assaulted her), William J. Murray, insisted that Muslims in Palestine have been persecuting Christians “since Israel ceded [Bethlehem] to Muslims.” He added that the drop in the Christian population of Bethlehem was proof of Muslim oppression.

For starters, Israel did not “cede” Bethlehem to Muslims. Bethlehem is in the occupied Palestinian West Bank. It is governed by the Palestinian Authority – a Palestinian regime, not Muslim.

In 1922, Christians made up about 85 percent of the population of Bethlehem (see Andrea Pacini’s Socio-Political and Community Dynamics of Arab Christians in Jordan, Israel, and the Autonomous Palestinian Territories. Clarendon Press, 1998).

In 1945, Bethlehem’s population was 8,820 (6,430, or 73 percent Christians; 2,370 or 27% Muslims),

By 1967, the Christian population had dropped slightly (6,231 vs. 6,430 in 1945), while the Muslim population had more than tripled (8,169 vs. 2,370 in 1945). The dramatic increase in the Muslim population was due mostly to Israel’s ethnic cleansing, both in 1948 and in 1967, during which a large Muslim population was forced into exile, thousands of whom ended up in refugee camps in Bethlehem.

The Christian population has continued to dwindle, due not to persecution by Muslims, but to the intolerable life under Israeli occupation. Christians were more easily able to emigrate, as they on the whole were more liquid, while Muslims were more often tied to the land as farmers. Muslims have also been emigrating, in smaller numbers; those who stay tend to have larger families than Christians.

Christians and Muslims – and Jews – have lived together in relative harmony throughout history. It was only with the beginning of Jewish colonialist pursuits that the trouble began. Indigenous Palestinians welcomed Jewish refugees, but did not approve of their aspiration to take over the land and create a Jewish state.

Hamas and Israeli forces have finally found mutual ground to order a ceasefire in the Gaza strip: a mass vaccination campaign against children to force them to receive the deadly oral polio vaccine that is banned in most Western countries, for a fake polio outbreak that is admittedly based on evidence of vaccine-induced polio found in sewage samples.

There is still only 1 report of an actual case of someone having polio based on a laboratory PCR test, and no one has died.

Deaths due to the new oral polio vaccine, however, which was given “emergency use authorization” (EUA), are currently about 25% of all vaccine injuries caused by the new oral polio vaccine, according to the U.S. government database of Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS). (Source.)

3 days, 640,000 children, 1.3M doses. The plan to vaccinate Gaza’s young against polio

JERUSALEM (AP) — The U.N. health agency and partners are launching a campaign starting Sunday to vaccinate 640,000 Palestinian children in Gaza against polio, an ambitious effort amid a devastating war that has destroyed the territory’s healthcare system.

The campaign comes after the first polio case was reported in Gaza in 25 years — a 10-month-old boy, now paralyzed in the leg.

The World Health Organization says the presence of a paralysis case indicates there could be hundreds more who have been infected but aren’t showing symptoms.

Most people who have polio do not experience symptoms, and those who do usually recover in a week or so. (Source – emphasis mine.)

This is clearly a population reduction campaign, as most childhood vaccines are, and I have yet to see any English news sites covering this story, and exposing that this is a fake polio outbreak that NOBODY is dying from, with an experimental and dangerous polio vaccine.

Apparently some Israeli scientists have sounded the alarm, but I have not located who these scientists are, perhaps because their voices have only been reported in Hebrew.

UN upholds safety and efficacy of Gaza polio vaccine

The United Nations has upheld the safety of the polio vaccine that will be administered to more than half a million Palestinian children during an inoculation campaign in Gaza.

Dire conditions brought on by the war have caused the disease to resurface after more than two decades. Last week, a case was confirmed in a 10-month-old.

Countering vaccine misinformation

During his daily media briefing from New York on Tuesday, UN Spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric noted that there had been misinformation surrounding the vaccine.

“I want to make the following clear: the safest and most effective way to protect children against the polio virus, regardless of the variant, is to vaccinate them,” he said.

Several news stories have appeared online in Israel and the United States, quoting two Israeli scientists falsely asserting that the polio vaccine due to be used in Gaza is “experimental” and a danger to citizens in both Palestine and Israel.

The UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the UN agency that assists Palestine refugees, UNRWA, are preparing to launch the campaign, which will be conducted in two rounds.

More than 640,000 children under the age of 10 will receive two drops of oral polio vaccine type 2.

“This vaccine is safe, it is effective, and it offers top quality protection,” said Mr. Dujarric. “It is a vaccine globally recommended for variant type two polio virus outbreaks by the World Health Organization.” (Source.)

As is common when discussing vaccines, those who are pro-vaccine injectors offer no evidence, no scientific studies, and no facts about vaccine side effects when making these pronouncements, just appeals to authority. (Trust us, because we are the experts, and don’t listen to those crazy anti-vaccine people.)

I have already published one article on this issue, so let’s review the facts that are currently available publicly to anyone who takes the time to research this issue.

ONE Case and NO Deaths = “Outbreak”? Polio Vaccines CAUSE Polio

When you read articles about calls for mass-vaccination campaigns against children, the first thing to do is examine the actual facts that are being reported over any so-called “outbreak.”

I went to the sources of the reporting over this “polio outbreak”, which is the UN, and specifically UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund), the largest purchaser and distributor of vaccines for children worldwide.

Here is what they reported in their August 16th publication that everyone is now using as their source to write these articles about the Gaza “polio outbreak”:

Humanitarian pauses vital for critical polio vaccination campaign in the Gaza Strip

JERUSALEM/CAIRO/AMMAN, 16 August 2024 – Two rounds of a polio vaccination campaign are expected to be launched at the end of August and September 2024 across the Gaza Strip to prevent the spread of circulating variant type 2 poliovirus (cVDPV2).

WHO and UNICEF request all parties to the conflict to implement humanitarian pauses in the Gaza Strip for seven days to allow for two rounds of vaccination campaigns to take place. These pauses in fighting would allow children and families to safely reach health facilities and community outreach workers to get to children who cannot access health facilities for polio vaccination. Without the humanitarian pauses, the delivery of the campaign will not be possible.

During each round of the campaign, the Palestinian Ministry of Health (MoH), in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) and partners, will provide two drops of novel oral polio vaccine type 2 (nOPV2) to more than 640 000 children under ten years of age.

The poliovirus was detected in July 2024 in environmental samples from Khan Younis and Deir al-Balah. Worryingly, three children presenting with suspected acute flaccid paralysis (AFP), a common symptom of polio, have since been reported in the Gaza Strip. Their stool samples have been sent for testing to the Jordan National Polio Laboratory.

Over 1.6 million doses of nOPV2, which is used to stop cVDPV2 transmission, will be delivered to the Gaza Strip.

This followed a report published by the UN last month (July, 2024), which stated that the “virus” had been identified (using the infamous PCR test protocol) in 6 locations, NOT people, by testing sewage samples.

Polio stalks Gazans as ‘anarchy’ spreads, humanitarians warn

To add to the devastation of war and the complete breakdown of law and order, Gazans now have to contend with the threat of highly infectious polio disease linked to the disastrous sanitation situation created by the conflict, the UN health agency said on Friday.

In a statement, Christian Lindmeier, spokesperson for the World Health Organization (WHO), said that vaccine-derived poliovirus type 2 (VDPV2) had been identified at six locations in sewage samples collected on 23 June from Khan Younis and Deir al Balah.

To date, no one has been treated in Gaza for paralysis or other symptoms caused by polio virus infection.

“It is important to note the virus has been isolated from the environment only at this time; no associated paralytic cases have been detected,” he told journalists in Geneva. As part of the response efforts, WHO in the Occupied Palestinian Territory is already working with the local health authority, the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the UN agency for Palestine refugees (UNRWA) and partners to assess how far poliovirus has spread.

This work will determine the measures needed to stop any further spread, “including prompt vaccination campaigns”, the WHO spokesperson explained. (Source.)

We can now summarize the facts from these two official news reports from the UN.

In July, a total of 6 cases of a positive polio PCR test result were found in sewage samples (fecal matter) at 6 locations. It was admitted that these cases were “vaccine-derived poliovirus type 2″.

This was the beginning of the “polio outbreak” that is now being reported, even though at the time these tests were conducted, there was not a single person being treated for polio, nor anyone showing any symptoms of polio.

Nevertheless, it was declared an “outbreak” and plans were immediately put into effect to produce hundreds of thousands of doses of the oral polio vaccines.

One month later, in August, “three children presenting with suspected acute flaccid paralysis (AFP), a common symptom of polio” was reported.

That’s it, 3 children, who did not even have a positive polio PCR test diagnosis, but only “symptoms” of polio, was all that was needed to determine that this was a deadly “outbreak” of polio and kick into gear the production of 1.6 million doses of the oral polio vaccine to give to children in Gaza, along with now a single “confirmed case” of a 10-month-old child.

What the Media is NOT Reporting about this Polio “Outbreak”

Sadly, I have seen this story before, many times, wherever disaster strikes and it is announced that “polio is back” after many years of having no “cases” of polio.

What the media fails to report, however, is that these “cases” of polio came from the oral polio vaccines themselves!

The oral polio vaccine is notorious for “shedding” the so-called “live virus”, and its use has been banned in wealthier countries, such as the U.S. and Israel, because it was widely known that this oral polio vaccine actually causes polio.

Even the corporate media has admitted this, since 2019.

In the recent press release by UNICEF about this “outbreak” of polio in Gaza, they stated that prior to 2022 Palestinians were receiving the “inactivated polio vaccine”, the same polio vaccines used in the U.S. and Israel.

The Gaza Strip had a high level of vaccination coverage across the population before the escalation of hostilities in October 2023. However, due to the impact of the conflict, routine immunization coverage (for the second dose of inactivated polio vaccine) dropped from 99 per cent in 2022 to less than 90 per cent in the first quarter of 2024, increasing the risk of vaccine-preventable diseases to children, including polio.  (Source.)

Since the current war in Gaza started in October of 2023, I suspected that UNICEF had already distributed some of the oral polio vaccines, which cause polio.

So I did some searching, and it did not take long to find out my suspicions were true, because as I wrote above, I have seen this script performed many times over the past decade.

In a June 13, 2024 UNICEF report that covered a reporting period between May 16th through May 29th this year (2024), 10,000 doses of the oral polio vaccine were administered in Gaza.

During the reporting period, UNICEF also managed to conduct a mission to the North Gaza governorate in order to deliver vaccines including 10,000 oral Polio vaccines, 5,000 Rotavirus vaccine drops, 6,000 Measles, Mumps, and Rubella vaccines, as well as Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Pertussis vaccines. Bingo! Now we know the source of the current “outbreak” of polio in Gaza, which so far has officially has only been found in a single child, but nonetheless is being used as an excuse to vaccinate every single child still living in Gaza, 630,000, with the deadly oral polio vaccine.

Shame on those of you in the Alternative Media for not reporting all the facts on this “outbreak” of polio! It is time for people to wake up and realize that ALL vaccines are a scam, and not just the COVID-19 ones.

Please do your research and learn how the polio vaccines have ALL been scams to scare the public into mass vaccination campaigns, starting in the 1960s.

Is the “New” Oral Polio Vaccine Better than the “Old” One?

Because it was widely known that the oral polio vaccine was dangerous, and the cause of almost all “polio outbreaks” around the world, a new oral polio vaccine was developed, called the “novel oral polio vaccine type 2 (nOPV2)”, which is the “updated” OPV being ordered to distribute in Gaza now.

The first thing that one needs to know about this “novel” new oral polio vaccine, is that it was given “Emergency Use” authorization in November of 2020, during the height of the COVID Scam.

On 13 November 2020, type 2 novel oral polio vaccine (nOPV2) became the first vaccine to be authorized for use under the WHO Emergency Use Listing (EUL) mechanism.

The use of nOPV2 is restricted to outbreak response for type 2 circulating vaccine-derived polioviruses (cVDPV2). SAGE recommended that an independent nOPV2 safety monitoring group be established (the GACVS subcommittee on nOPV2) and that the GACVS should advise on nOPV2 safety monitoring during the entire period of the EUL. A study published in 2022 that was conducted in Panama, showed that this “new” oral polio vaccine also sheds, just like the older one did.

Fecal Shedding of 2 Novel Live Attenuated Oral Poliovirus Type 2 Vaccine Candidates by Healthy Infants Administered Bivalent Oral Poliovirus Vaccine/Inactivated Poliovirus Vaccine: 2 Randomized Clinical Trials

Since this “new” oral polio vaccine is NOT used in the U.S., there is not much recorded on it in the U.S. CDC and FDA database of vaccine adverse events (VAERS).

So I did a search for “oral polio vaccine” in VAERS after January 1, 2021, as almost all of those cases should be the new OPV vaccine.

As is to be expected, since the vaccine is not distributed in the U.S., there are only 40 cases from the beginning of 2021 through today, all foreign cases reported.

However, of those 40 cases recorded in VAERS, 10 of those cases of oral polio vaccine side effects resulted in DEATH (25%), with 30 hospitalizations. (Source.)

And 65% of those cases were infants below the age of 6 months. (Source.)

The deaths of these babies are recorded as “sudden infant death syndrome” (SIDS), because according to the CDC all vaccines are safe and effective, and never cause any deaths.

Conclusion: More Children Will Die and be Crippled by the EUA Oral Polio Vaccine in Gaza



Sadly, in the weeks and months ahead we will see babies and children die and become crippled in Gaza, not only due to the war, but also because of this mass vaccination campaign with the new Oral Polio Vaccine.

In addition, vaccine-induced polio will spread, including throughout Israel where the OPV has been banned for years, and this will result in even MORE vaccines being distributed as they will claim that there is now a full-blown “Polio epidemic”, that possibly they will claim is spreading worldwide.

Where have we seen this script play out before??

من الواضح أن هذه حملة لتخفيض عدد السكان، كما هو الحال في معظم لقاحات الأطفال، ولم أر حتى الآن أي موقع إخباري باللغة الإنجليزية يغطي هذه القصة، ويكشف أن هذا تفشي مزيف لشلل الأطفال الذي لا يموت منه أحد، بلقاح تجريبي وخطير لشلل الأطفال.

من الواضح أن بعض العلماء الإسرائيليين الذين دقوا ناقوس الخطر، ولكنني لم أحدد من هم هؤلاء العلماء، ربما لأن أصواتهم لم تُنقل إلا باللغة العبرية.

الأمم المتحدة تؤيد سلامة وفعالية لقاح شلل الأطفال في غزة

أيدت الأمم المتحدة سلامة لقاح شلل الأطفال الذي سيتم إعطاؤه لأكثر من نصف مليون طفل فلسطيني خلال حملة تلقيح في غزة.

وقد تسببت الظروف القاسية الناجمة عن الحرب في عودة المرض إلى الظهور من جديد بعد أكثر من عقدين من الزمن. في الأسبوع الماضي، تم تأكيد حالة إصابة طفل يبلغ من العمر 10 أشهر.

مواجهة المعلومات المضللة حول اللقاح

خلال إحاطته الإعلامية اليومية من نيويورك يوم الثلاثاء، أشار المتحدث باسم الأمم المتحدة ستيفان دوجاريك إلى وجود معلومات خاطئة حول اللقاح.

وقال: ”أريد أن أوضح ما يلي: الطريقة الأكثر أمانًا وفعالية لحماية الأطفال من فيروس شلل الأطفال، بغض النظر عن نوعه، هي تطعيمهم“.

ظهرت العديد من القصص الإخبارية على الإنترنت في إسرائيل والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية نقلاً عن عالمين إسرائيليين يؤكدان كذباً أن لقاح شلل الأطفال المقرر استخدامه في غزة ”تجريبي“ ويشكل خطراً على المواطنين في كل من فلسطين وإسرائيل.

وتستعد منظمة الأمم المتحدة للطفولة (اليونيسف) ومنظمة الصحة العالمية ووكالة الأمم المتحدة التي تساعد اللاجئين الفلسطينيين ”الأونروا“ لإطلاق الحملة التي ستتم على جولتين.

وسيتلقى أكثر من 640,000 طفل دون سن العاشرة قطرتين من لقاح شلل الأطفال الفموي من النوع الثاني.

”وقال السيد دوجاريك: ”إن هذا اللقاح آمن وفعال ويوفر حماية عالية الجودة. ”إنه لقاح موصى به عالميًا لتفشي فيروس شلل الأطفال من النوع الثاني من قبل منظمة الصحة العالمية.“ (المصدر)

كما هو شائع عند مناقشة اللقاحات، لا يقدم المؤيدون للقاحات أي دليل أو دراسات علمية أو حقائق حول الآثار الجانبية للقاحات عند الإدلاء بهذه التصريحات، بل مجرد مناشدات للسلطة. (ثقوا بنا، لأننا نحن الخبراء، ولا تستمعوا إلى هؤلاء المجانين المناهضين للقاحات).

لقد سبق لي أن نشرت مقالاً واحداً حول هذه المسألة، لذا دعونا نستعرض الحقائق المتاحة حالياً للجمهور لأي شخص يخصص وقتاً للبحث في هذه المسألة.

حالة واحدة ولا وفيات = ”تفشي المرض“؟ لقاحات شلل الأطفال تسبب شلل الأطفال

عندما تقرأ مقالات حول الدعوات لحملات التطعيم الجماعية ضد الأطفال، فإن أول ما يجب فعله هو فحص الحقائق الفعلية التي يتم الإبلاغ عنها بشأن أي ”تفشٍ“ مزعوم.

لقد ذهبت إلى مصدر التقارير حول ”تفشي شلل الأطفال“، وهو الأمم المتحدة، وتحديداً منظمة الأمم المتحدة للطفولة (اليونيسف)، أكبر مشترٍ وموزع للقاحات الأطفال في جميع أنحاء العالم.

إليكم ما ذكروه في منشورهم الصادر في 16 أغسطس/آب والذي يستخدمه الجميع الآن كمصدر لكتابة هذه المقالات حول ”تفشي شلل الأطفال“ في غزة:

وقفات إنسانية ضرورية لحملة التطعيم ضد شلل الأطفال الحرجة في قطاع غزة

القدس/القاهرة/عمان، 16 آب/أغسطس 2024 – من المتوقع إطلاق جولتين من حملة التطعيم ضد شلل الأطفال في نهاية آب/أغسطس وأيلول/سبتمبر 2024 في جميع أنحاء قطاع غزة لمنع انتشار فيروس شلل الأطفال من النوع الثاني الساري (cVDPV2).

وتطلب منظمة الصحة العالمية واليونيسف من جميع أطراف النزاع تنفيذ هدنات إنسانية في قطاع غزة لمدة سبعة أيام للسماح بإجراء جولتين من حملات التطعيم. ومن شأن هذه التوقفات في القتال أن تسمح للأطفال والعائلات بالوصول بأمان إلى المرافق الصحية وللعاملين في مجال التوعية المجتمعية بالوصول إلى الأطفال الذين لا يستطيعون الوصول إلى المرافق الصحية للتطعيم ضد شلل الأطفال. وبدون هذه التوقفات الإنسانية، لن يكون تنفيذ الحملة ممكناً.

وخلال كل جولة من الحملة، ستقدم وزارة الصحة الفلسطينية، بالتعاون مع منظمة الصحة العالمية ومنظمة الأمم المتحدة للطفولة (اليونيسف) ووكالة الأمم المتحدة لإغاثة وتشغيل اللاجئين الفلسطينيين (الأونروا) والشركاء، قطرتين من لقاح شلل الأطفال الفموي الجديد من النوع الثاني (nOPV2) لأكثر من 640,000 طفل دون سن العاشرة.

تم اكتشاف فيروس شلل الأطفال في تموز/يوليو 2024 في عينات بيئية من خان يونس ودير البلح. ومما يثير القلق أنه تم الإبلاغ منذ ذلك الحين عن ثلاثة أطفال في قطاع غزة يشتبه في إصابتهم بالشلل الرخو الحاد، وهو أحد الأعراض الشائعة لشلل الأطفال. وقد تم إرسال عينات البراز الخاصة بهم لفحصها في المختبر الوطني الأردني لشلل الأطفال.

عاملون في المجال الإنساني يحذرون من أن شلل الأطفال يطارد سكان غزة مع انتشار ”الفوضى

بالإضافة إلى الدمار الذي خلفته الحرب والانهيار الكامل للقانون والنظام، يتعين على سكان غزة الآن مواجهة خطر الإصابة بمرض شلل الأطفال شديد العدوى المرتبط بالوضع الصحي الكارثي الذي تسبب به الصراع، حسبما قالت منظمة الصحة العالمية التابعة للأمم المتحدة يوم الجمعة.

وقال كريستيان ليندماير، المتحدث باسم منظمة الصحة العالمية، في بيان له، إنه تم تحديد فيروس شلل الأطفال من النوع الثاني المشتق من اللقاح في ستة مواقع في عينات من مياه الصرف الصحي التي تم جمعها في 23 حزيران/يونيو من خان يونس ودير البلح.

وحتى الآن، لم يتم علاج أي شخص في غزة من الشلل أو الأعراض الأخرى الناجمة عن الإصابة بفيروس شلل الأطفال.

وقال للصحفيين في جنيف: ”من المهم ملاحظة أن الفيروس قد تم عزله من البيئة فقط في هذا الوقت؛ ولم يتم اكتشاف أي حالات شلل مصاحبة له“. وكجزء من جهود الاستجابة، تعمل منظمة الصحة العالمية في الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة بالفعل مع السلطة الصحية المحلية ومنظمة الأمم المتحدة للطفولة (اليونيسف) ووكالة الأمم المتحدة لإغاثة وتشغيل اللاجئين الفلسطينيين (الأونروا) والشركاء لتقييم مدى انتشار فيروس شلل الأطفال.

وأوضح المتحدث باسم منظمة الصحة العالمية أن هذا العمل سيحدد التدابير اللازمة لوقف أي انتشار إضافي، ”بما في ذلك حملات التطعيم الفورية“. (المصدر)

يمكننا الآن تلخيص الحقائق من هذين التقريرين الإخباريين الرسميين الصادرين عن الأمم المتحدة.

في شهر تموز/يوليو، تم العثور على ما مجموعه 6 حالات إيجابية نتيجة اختبار PCR لشلل الأطفال في عينات من مياه الصرف الصحي (البراز) في 6 مواقع. وتم الاعتراف بأن هذه الحالات كانت ”فيروس شلل الأطفال من النوع 2“ المشتق من اللقاح.

كانت هذه هي بداية ”تفشي شلل الأطفال“ الذي يتم الإبلاغ عنه الآن، على الرغم من أنه في الوقت الذي أجريت فيه هذه الاختبارات، لم يكن هناك شخص واحد يعالج من شلل الأطفال، ولم تظهر على أي شخص أي أعراض لشلل الأطفال.

هذا كل ما في الأمر، 3 أطفال، لم يكن لديهم حتى تشخيص إيجابي لاختبار PCR لشلل الأطفال، بل فقط ”أعراض“ شلل الأطفال، كان كل ما كان مطلوبًا لتحديد أن هذا ”تفشٍ“ مميت لشلل الأطفال والبدء في إنتاج 1.6 مليون جرعة من لقاح شلل الأطفال الفموي لإعطائها للأطفال في غزة، إلى جانب ”حالة مؤكدة“ واحدة لطفل عمره 10 أشهر.

ما لم تنقله وسائل الإعلام عن ”تفشي شلل الأطفال“

للأسف، لقد شاهدت هذه القصة من قبل، عدة مرات، حيثما تقع الكارثة ويُعلن عن ”عودة شلل الأطفال“ بعد سنوات عديدة من عدم وجود ”حالات“ لشلل الأطفال.

لكن ما لا تنقله وسائل الإعلام هو أن ”حالات“ شلل الأطفال هذه جاءت من لقاحات شلل الأطفال الفموية نفسها!

كانت المرة الأخيرة التي تحدثت فيها عن هذه الطريقة التي تتبعها الأمم المتحدة في التطعيم الجماعي للأطفال ضد شلل الأطفال في أوقات الأزمات، في بداية العام الماضي (2023)، بعد الزلزال الهائل الذي ضرب تركيا وسوريا مباشرة. انظر:

شركات الأدوية الكبرى ووسائل إعلام الشركات تعترف أخيرًا بأن لقاح شلل الأطفال الفموي فاشل – يسبب شلل الأطفال بدلاً من الوقاية منه

في البيان الصحفي الأخير الذي أصدرته اليونيسف حول ”تفشي“ شلل الأطفال في غزة، ذكروا أنه قبل عام 2022 كان الفلسطينيون يتلقون ”لقاح شلل الأطفال المعطل“، وهو نفس لقاحات شلل الأطفال المستخدمة في الولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل.

كان قطاع غزة يتمتع بمستوى عالٍ من التغطية بالتطعيم بين السكان قبل تصاعد الأعمال القتالية في تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2023. ومع ذلك، وبسبب تأثير الصراع، انخفضت التغطية بالتحصين الروتيني (للجرعة الثانية من لقاح شلل الأطفال المعطل) من 99 بالمائة في عام 2022 إلى أقل من 90 بالمائة في الربع الأول من عام 2024، مما زاد من خطر إصابة الأطفال بالأمراض التي يمكن الوقاية منها باللقاحات، بما فيها شلل الأطفال.  (المصدر)

منذ أن بدأت الحرب الحالية في غزة في أكتوبر من عام 2023، اشتبهت في أن اليونيسف قد وزعت بالفعل بعض لقاحات شلل الأطفال الفموية التي تسبب شلل الأطفال.

لذا قمتُ ببعض البحث، ولم يستغرق الأمر وقتاً طويلاً لأكتشف أن شكوكي كانت صحيحة، لأنني كما كتبتُ أعلاه، فقد رأيت هذا السيناريو يُنفذ عدة مرات على مدار العقد الماضي.

في تقرير اليونيسف الصادر في 13 حزيران/يونيو 2024، والذي غطى الفترة المشمولة بالتقرير بين 16 أيار/مايو حتى 29 أيار/مايو من هذا العام (2024)، تم إعطاء 10,000 جرعة من لقاح شلل الأطفال الفموي في غزة.

وخلال الفترة التي يشملها التقرير، تمكنت اليونيسف أيضًا من إيفاد بعثة إلى محافظة شمال غزة من أجل تقديم اللقاحات، بما في ذلك 10,000 لقاح فموي ضد شلل الأطفال، و5,000 قطرة لقاح ضد فيروس الروتافيروس، و6,000 لقاح ضد الحصبة والنكاف والحصبة الألمانية، بالإضافة إلى لقاح الدفتيريا والكزاز والسعال الديكي. وجدتها! لقد عرفنا الآن مصدر ”تفشي“ شلل الأطفال الحالي في غزة، والذي لم يتم حتى الآن اكتشافه رسميًا لدى طفل واحد حتى الآن، ولكن مع ذلك يتم استخدامه كذريعة لتطعيم كل طفل لا يزال يعيش في غزة، 630,000 طفل، بلقاح شلل الأطفال الفموي القاتل.

A little under a year ago,we studied this subject,and some of the feedback that came was perverse in nature,as it didn't actually go the way they expected. We have mostly be used to the positive side of God being our Boss through our earthly employers,and how if we're faithful to them,God rewards us.

But we don't often want to consider that God requires certain unsolicited commitments from us...more than the way we freely or seemingly freely give to our earthly employers. We fail to recognize and realize that God also demands loyalty from us,even more than we can ever imagine...voluntary loyalty,not conditioned or forced loyalty.
By God's Grace and Mercy, today is another Sunday... Some are still there,while some are home already.

What's your motivation for wanting to be in church... your passion...is it about you or God?

The truth is that,it gladdens God's Heart when He finds us loving Him unconditionally. And like I always mention,that was both Job and King David's secret of success in an already broken world where *no lunch* is actually free. Job was able to tell Lucifer to his face that, he doesn't love God because of God's blessings,but because of God's Undiluted Faithfulness and Love for man,when he least deserves it. Hear him;

In our present day world,anyone in charge or even remotely connected to our source of income,is held as a demigod from our perspective. We do all we can and could to be in their good books...all just for mundane aspirations.

But God, without*WHOM*,we can't have a boss,not to mention source of income,we hold with derision.
Indeed,as individuals,we value our own reputation more than God's Own. We can afford to listen to (and in some instances,even inwardly enjoy)vulgar jokes made in God's Name,but we are ready to flare up,if same is said of us,or our human employers.

In Christendom today,leaders have a cult like followership among their members...let any *son of a bitch*(apologies) speak any unpatronising word about their *Daddy or Mummy GO*, you would be counted lucky if you left in one piece. I am not exaggerating...very many christians go extra mile to please their earthly pastors,but can't do same for God...the Author and Finisher of our faith.

When we're sick,we struggle to go to work,but tiredness will deny us being present in church. We run frantically when late for work,but we chat and can even stop to exchange pleasantries no matter how late we are for church.

I am reminded of my adolescent years then, usually we prefer the 1st service,but my dad(a very diligent security personnel), always makes sure we arrive church at least 10-15 minutes to the end of that 1st service,and you know what,we share the Grace together and close with them ..we have been in service for that Sunday,and from there,off to visitations until evening. It was a routine.

Our pastors do not dare scold or reprimand us,when we're wrong...that may be the end of church,but our employers will bully us,even when we are right,and we would humbly say *sorry sir*

Discipline us for a misdeed that deserves it...how dare him...we cross to another church,but receive a query from our bosses,we would send emissaries,wine and brown envelopes to beg for us.

If we can give to GOD just a meagre 10% of the fear, respect, commitment and reverence (not even love)that we overflowingly display for our earthly employers, CERTAINLY, THE DEVIL WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN THAT SUCCESSFUL IN THE WORLD, AND OUR LIVES WOULD HAVE BEEN MUCH MORE BETTER THAN WE ARE TODAY.

Yes, it's true God is angry with us, and rightly so too,*HE TRULY IS MORE SAD THAN ANGRY,THAT UPON HIS CONTINUED UNFATHOMABLE SACRIFICE FOR US, WE STILL REFUSE TO LONG FOR HIM....some of the strange happenings around us are evident signs of God's displeasure for our relegating Him to the background of our lives,when we should be living for Him...He is sad... really,really,very, very sad...

And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. (Gen 6: 6)

But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them. (Isa 63: 10)

We have to reexamine our relationship with God...are we according God the loyalty,love, respect and commitment He more than deserves?
Our bosses here,want us to fear them,but God desires us not to fear Him, but to respect and rever Him as our FATHER. Hear Him again;

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. (Rom 8: 15)

Israeli media coverage of the rape of Palestinian detainees demonstrates the widespread acceptance within Israeli society of sexual violence as a weapon of genocide.

Israel’s drama around the investigation of ten soldiers suspected of gang-raping a Palestinian detainee at the Sde Teiman torture facility keeps reaching new lows. The reaction from Israelis, not just on the right, but also in the Israeli mainstream, has revealed a lust for sadistic revenge and an obsession with Hamas that is used to justify releasing all hell on Palestinians, including sexual abuse.

In fact, the media coverage of events last week paints a grim and revealing picture of Israeli society.

It began when the mainstream Israeli Channel 12 broadcasted a report concerning the gang rape case. The report features a segment from the security camera that caught the rape taking place — with three of the soldiers holding their shields up so as to obscure the crime from the camera. They knew exactly what they were doing.

But beyond the harrowing aspect of the act itself is the nature of Channel 12’s report. A full fourth of the four-minute report dedicates itself to the scrutiny of whether the detainee was a “Nukhba” Hamas member — an elite fighter who participated in the October 7 attack. Such a focus reflects an obsession. It suggests that some people deserve to get gang-raped and have objects inserted into their anus, some less so.

Let us see what Channel 12 says on this issue:

“The terrorist that appears in the documentation did not participate in the massacre of October 7 and was not among the Nukhba forces. According to AMAN (military intelligence) information, he is a Hamas policeman who was involved in the drug-control department. In the intelligence report that was submitted in his case, it was written that despite this, he is counted with the force perpetrating acts of terror against Israel and it was emphasized that he represents a grave risk if released. Likewise, the terrorist was not arrested at the beginning of the war but in March. In contradiction to what was claimed, he was not a (military) Company Commander in Jabalia — the source of the mistake is in the interpretation of the initials — that is, not [military] M.P. [in Hebrew, military terminology stands for ‘Mefaked Pluga,’ or Company Commander], but rather M.P., which stands for ‘Mahane Plitim’ — refugee camp [in Hebrew] Jabalia.”

So, let’s pause here to just reflect upon what was said – this is a civil servant, a policeman. But anyone remotely connected to Hamas is considered a terrorist, because Hamas is considered a terrorist organization. Actually, it doesn’t really matter for Israel, because like President Isaac Herzog said in October, there are simply no “uninvolved civilians” in Gaza; they are all involved with Hamas.

But why is Channel 12 really going into all of this if it doesn’t make a difference?

Channel 12 is a centrist channel and is the biggest news provider. By taking us through these details, it is distancing itself from the perpetrators and their defenders, who are mostly from the far right. The channel also aired interviews and unhinged statements of the gang rape suspects’ attorneys. One of the attorneys, Nati Rom, claims that the Israeli soldiers were acting in self-defense, as if it wasn’t a premeditated gang rape case at all:

“He [the Palestinian detainee] tries to bite two soldiers, he tries to scratch another soldier, and when a taser is used on him he also resists, and attacks and scratches this soldier, and that’s why they are forced to use force in order to restrain him”.

Another attorney, Adi Kedar, complains that

“the military attorney office and military investigation unit are recruited fully, in a targeted and intentional way with all their forces … We are in a war — to invest all these resources for the sake of the rights of the terrorist against these ten heroes who really acted above and beyond, and against whom the suspicion is very very vague, it’s very disappointing, both at the legal level, as well as the personal level, and I hope this arrest will soon end.”

Channel 12 gave the lawyers airtime for their egregious statements without comment — supposedly a neutral stance. As Tali Shapiro commented on social media: “According to Israeli media, what’s important in the rape case involving military personnel is not so much the rape but rather how much of a Nukhba the victim is.”

Then, on Wednesday, Channel 14, the far-right channel which aired several snuff videos of these torture facilities earlier this year, featured a 10-minute interview with one of the rape suspects on its program, “The Patriots.” He is sitting there in an army uniform and a gun across his shoulder, with a black mask. The host begins by stating that the masked suspect is charged under the case with “the Nukhba terrorist, cursed be his name.” The suspect is complaining about what he sees as a witch-hunt and congratulates the right wing for rising up to protest it. He receives countless ovations. Asked about the security camera footage and the soldiers holding up the shields like that, he says this is just standard procedure. He chided Channel 12 and their journalist, Guy Peleg, for slandering the soldiers in the other mentioned report.

This is an unbelievable sight to behold — here is a partially subtitled version in Middle East Eye. And imagine, this guy is calling for law and order. While hailing the right-wing protests of the arrest, he nonetheless urges them not to “break into camps,” because it “hurts our good name.”

Another shocking development came the same day, during a Channel 12 morning news discussion.

The Channel 12 journalist and panelist Yehuda Shlezinger commented on the gang rape case:

“It interests my anus what they did to this Hamas person…From my perspective, the problem here is that it is not a regulated policy from the state to abuse prisoners. First of all — they deserve it. Maybe it will serve as deterrence.. It’s a worthy revenge, it’s just a pity that it’s not done in an institutional manner.”

Later, Ynet published an article with a title suggesting that Shlezinger “apologized.” Here is his “apology”:

“It was a mistake to say those things in a live broadcast. I was wrong. We need to get into them (sic), in the strongest possible manner, like I saw the heroic soldiers do it in Khan Younis, Jabalia, and Rafah … The terrorists need to be executed according to law. To let the state deal with them, to remember and to remind what Amalek did to you.”

So, Shlezinger is now once again referring to the biblical Amalek story, suggesting total genocide down to babies and animals. This is his “apology.” By the way, the systematic abuse of prisoners is already established state policy — but not necessarily gang rape.

Channel 12 tried to distance itself from Shlezinger’s views expressed on air. The production “regretted” the discussion and noted that it was said to Shlezinger that those things should not have been said. The host, Niv Raskin, said that he “distances himself from those sayings,” and that “it would have been right to do so in the broadcast itself” (which he didn’t do — the challenge to Shlezinger came from Haaretz journalist Josh Breiner). Raskin notes that “Shlezinger expressed remorse over the sayings and issued an apology.” But the “apology,” as we see, invokes genocide and is merely a regret of having advocated for rape on air.

The broadcaster Keshet “unequivocally condemned the statements that were said today on live broadcast,” asking the production “not to invite Shlezinger to the morning program in the near future.”

A day later, on Thursday, Middle East Eye released another testimony of a male Palestinian prisoner who was subject to rape, reporting on the systematic sexual abuse, but this time with an additional angle — female teenage soldiers raping men. It must be noted that the whole phenomenon of men testifying openly, with their name and on video, is something that had not existed pre-October 7. The shame related to such occurrences meant that, on the rare occasion where it was reported, it would be anonymous. But now we have seen a series of such testimonies, which demonstrates not only the systematic nature of the abuse but also the fact that these men are now willing to put their privacy and personal dignity aside to help change the reality for their brethren still undergoing the abuse on a daily basis.

Ibrahim Salem, who was released last week after nearly eight months of detention, told Middle East Eye of his torture and interrogation at Sde Teiman (trigger warning):

“I noticed that [the soldier] was glueing something on me. Then I started shaking. He was electrocuting me. He electrocuted me in sensitive spots and hit me in these spots.”

The report continues:

“Though it was rampant, inmates rarely spoke about it to each other, he said. It was embarrassing for many to admit, especially when they were raped by female soldiers, who were sometimes in their teens. It was common practice for soldiers to strip detainees naked, insert objects into their rectum and grab their genitals aggressively when they changed. When word got around that a prisoner in his 40s was raped, Salem kept getting close to him until he told him what happened to him.

‘He told me he was raped by a female soldier,’ Salem told Middle East Eye. When he asked him how it happened, the prisoner explained it would take place in the presence of another soldier in the room. The prisoner would be bent over a desk with his hands placed in front of him, handcuffed. The female soldier, standing behind him, would insert her fingers and other objects into his rectum.

Salem said he was also touched in his private parts by a female soldier and had objects inserted in his rectum at some point.”

Last week began with the Israeli human rights non-governmental organization B’tselem releasing a new report on Monday titled “Welcome to Hell – The Israeli Prison System as a Network of Torture Camps,” which makes the point that Sde Teiman is “only the tip of the iceberg.” So everything above is not exceptional. It’s the product of a system.

And this is partly why this one story of gang rape is making the headlines in Israel, although for various and opposing reasons. The right wing wants the story to be justified and to go away so that soldiers can continue abusing Palestinian detainees with impunity. The center and left mostly want it prosecuted so that it can be chalked up to a few “bad apples.” This was the case with the murder case of Elor Azarya in 2016 — where the medic-soldier shot an already incapacitated Palestinian suspect in the head at point-blank range. Azarya was also caught on video. Although what he did happened “tons of times,” according to his comrades, he was to serve as the “bad apple,” which in turn would prove the innocence of the system. Azarya’s trial was a sham, and he eventually returned home to a hero’s welcome after a nine-month prison term. This is roughly what we should expect here. The Israeli center needs to differentiate between the murdering Zionist, the gang-raping Zionist, and the liberal Zionist.

But the rot is way too overwhelming. It won’t help to close down Sde Teiman. This story is about the systemic usage of sexual violence as a weapon of genocide. And Sde Teiman is just a reflection of Israeli society, a cog in a network of torture that reflects and replicates an overall rape culture.

A new Japanese study published in the International Journal of Vaccine Theory Practice and Research proves that Pfizer and Moderna vaccines contain unauthorized “animated worm-like” entities, invisible to the human eye, that swim, wriggle, and assemble themselves into complex structures.

As the Dr. Young Mi Lee and Dr. Daniel Broudy from Okinawa Christian University explain, these worm-like entities are responsible for causing clots inside millions of human bodies around the world since the mRNA roll out.

When these processes are replicated, the results are the same, as this deeply disturbing footage from Died Suddenly reveals.

But it gets even worse.

Dr. Young Mi Lee and Dr. Daniel Broudy isolated vaccine vials for three weeks, then examined them under 400 times magnification and found what they describe as “undisclosed additional engineered components” … also known as nanotechnology.

As Lee and Broudy observed, when the nanotechnology is energized it creates “discs, chains, spirals, tubes, and right-angle structures.”

What are these nanorobots and why would Pfizer and Big Pharma want to secretly inject thousands of billions of them into unsuspecting human beings?

And when exactly does the nanotechnology “energize”, you ask?

Lee and Broudy were astonished to find the “additional engineered components” energize when they are placed near cellphones or computers.

These are nanobots that communicate with a central database, the IP of which cannot be traced to a location or a single computer.

Are the vaccinated already walking, talking human cyborgs, fulfilling as yet unknown functions for the global elite – before they keel over and die at the flick of a switch?

Bill Gates wasn’t joking when he let slip that mRNA contains “nanotechnology” that is “very self-assembling.”

Evidence is now emerging that the elite have implemented their plan – without our consent – to turn the human race into a vast battery reserve to be harvested in secret.

Unfortunately for the elite, this secret has been blown wide open by researchers in Japan and around the world. We are onto them and their is a plan in place to serve them with the justice they so richly deserve.

The Japanese study concludes that the smart microscopic components are part of the global elite’s “long-planned well-funded Internet of Bodies,” which was described as a kind of “synthetic global central nervous system” turning humans into controllable “Biohybrid Magnetic Robots.”

They also demanded the labels “vaccine” and “safe and effective” be removed because the concoction injected into billions of people around the world is not a vaccine nor safe and effective.

The more we learn about the so-called vaccines, the more we understand that “safe and effective” is perhaps the biggest of the Big Lies the elite ever told.

The lies don’t stop there. The global elite are determined to convince us that up is down, women have penises, open borders are a source of strength, and owning nothing will make you happy. They also want you to know that graphene oxide is good for you.

Another Palestinian journalist killed in Israeli attack on Gaza

Al Jazeera reports: Gaza’s Government Media Office says the number of journalists killed in Israeli attacks has risen to 166 since the start of Israel’s war.

It said in a statement that Mohammed Issa Abu Saada, a correspondent and field photojournalist for several media outlets, is the latest to be killed.

Child malnutrition surges in Gaza: UN

OCHA reports: In the five-day period up to Monday, 143 Palestinians were reported killed and 341 injured by Israeli attacks on Gaza from air, land and sea forces, according to the UN’s latest situation report.

Detected cases of child malnutrition in Gaza have jumped almost 50 percent in July compared with June, with more than 650 Palestinian children now suffering from “acute malnutrition” in the enclave, which is a three-fold increase in cases since May.

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) also reports that an estimated 10,000 people remain missing or under the rubble of destroyed buildings in Gaza.

Save the Children, in a new statement, said 21,000 children are missing, some separated from their families, some buried under the rubble, their fate unknown. The advocacy group calls for a ceasefire to look for the missing children. Israel's abuses saw it added to the UN's global blacklist of countries that harm children.

Israeli Military Orders Another Mass Evacuation in Northern Gaza – ‘To the Known Shelters’

Palestine Chronicle reports: The Israeli military threatened a new military operation in the northern Gaza Strip under the pretext of the firing of rockets from the area.

In a tweet published early Wednesday on the X platform, Israeli army spokesman Avichai Adraee said that all those in the Beit Hanoun area, the Manshiya and Sheikh Zayed neighborhoods should evacuate their areas immediately to “known shelters” in the center of Gaza City.

He added that Hamas and other factions were firing rockets from those areas and that the Israeli army would act “immediately and forcefully against them.”

Throughout the war, Israel has repeatedly targeted refugee encampments of displaced Gazans, resulting in the killing and wounding of thousands.

Israel’s Channel 12 said the army was preparing for what it described as large-scale ground activity in Beit Hanoun.

Meanwhile, there are reports of shelling all over Gaza.

Gaza’s official death toll is a lie

Jonathan Cook writes: The reported death toll in Gaza is way too low by every imaginable metric. We need to be stressing this — all the more so when Israel’s apologists are vigorously engaged in a disinformation campaign to suggest that the figures are inflated.

On May 6, seven months into Israel’s slaughter, there were reported to be 34,735 dead. That was an average of 4,960 Palestinians killed each month.

Today, nearly three months on, the reported death toll stands at 39,400 — or an increase of 4,665.

It should not need a statistician to point out that, were the rise linear, the expected number of deaths would stand by this point at around 49,600.

So, even by the simplest calculation, there is a large shortfall in deaths — a shortfall that needs explaining.

Such an explanation is easy to provide: Israel destroyed Gaza’s institutions and its medical infrastructure, including its hospitals, many months ago, making it impossible for officials there to keep track of how many Palestinians are being killed by Israel.

The death toll figures started to stall in the spring, around the time Israel completed its destruction of Gaza’s hospitals and kidnapped much of the enclave’s medical personnel.

More than a month ago, Save the Children pointed out that some 21,000 children in Gaza were missing, in addition to the 16,000 known to have been killed by Israel. Many are likely to have suffered lonely, terrifying deaths under rubble — gradually suffocated to death, or dying slowly from dehydration.

But again, even those shocking figures are likely to be a severe undercount.

Reports of torture in Israel’s Sde Teiman ‘only represent the tip of iceberg’

UN Office of the High Commissioner on Human Rights: Reports of alleged torture and sexual violence in Israel’s Sde Teiman prison are grossly illegal and revolting, but they only represent the tip of the iceberg, independent human rights experts* warned today.

“Israel’s widespread and systemic abuse of Palestinians in detention and arbitrary arrest practices over decades, coupled with the absence of any restraints by the Israeli State since 7 October 2023, paint a shocking picture enabled by absolute impunity,” the experts said.

Around 9,500 Palestinians, including hundreds of children and women, are currently imprisoned—around one-third without charge or trial. Another unknown number are arbitrarily being held in detention facilities and ad hoc camps following a wave of arrest and abduction campaigns across Palestinian territory that targeted men, women and children particularly following 7 October.

The experts received substantiated reports of widespread abuse, torture, sexual assault and rape, amid atrocious inhumane conditions, with at least 53 Palestinians apparently dying as a result in 10 months.

Countless testimonies by men and women speak of detainees in cage-like enclosures, tied to beds blindfolded and in diapers, stripped naked, deprived of adequate healthcare, food, water and sleep, electrocutions including on their genitals, blackmail and cigarette burns. In addition, victims spoke of loud music played until their ears bled, attacks by dogs, waterboarding, suspension from ceilings and severe sexual and gender-based violence.

“Allegations of gang-rape of a Palestinian detainee, now shockingly supported by voices in the Israeli political establishment and society, provide irrefutable evidence that the moral compass is lost,” the experts said. In February 2024, a number of experts also expressed grave concern regarding the reports of sexual and other forms of gender-based violence committed against Palestinian women and girls in Israeli detention.

Key takeaways from B’Tselem’s report on Israel’s ‘torture camps’

The Israeli human rights group B’Tselem collected testimonies from 55 Palestinians, including 21 from the Gaza Strip, who had been held in Israeli prisons since October 7.

The detainees spoke to B’Tselem following their release – here are some details:

The B’Tselem report reveals that more than a dozen Israeli prison facilities were converted into a network of camps “dedicated to the abuse of inmates” following October 7.
“Such spaces, in which every inmate is intentionally condemned to severe, relentless pain and suffering, operate in fact as torture camps,” it said.
The violations include “frequent acts of severe, arbitrary violence; sexual assault; humiliation and degradation; deliberate starvation; forced unhygienic conditions; sleep deprivation; prohibition on, and punitive measures for, religious worship; confiscation of all communal and personal belongings; and denial of adequate medical treatment”.
B’Tselem said at least 60 Palestinians have died in Israeli custody since October 7. Some 48 of them were from Gaza.
The report said that detainee testimonies demonstrate “a systemic, institutional policy focused on the continual abuse and torture of all Palestinian prisoners”. This policy, it said, is implemented under the direction of Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir, with the full support of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
B’Tselem also noted that the number of Palestinians held in Israeli jails has doubled to 9,623 since the war on Gaza began.

UN probe into UNRWA not given full access to Israeli evidence

UNRWA reported earlier this week that an internal UN investigation concluded that nine UNRWA staff members “may have been involved” in the 7 October attacks.

The UN has now revealed that it does not have 100% conclusive evidence, and that the UN’s Office of Internal Oversight Services was never given full access to Israel’s evidence that it claims it has against the UN personnel.

Secretary-General Antonio Guterres ordered this internal review shortly after Israel leveled its claims against UNRWA personnel in late January. Now, because of legal and confidentiality reasons, this OIOS report will not be made public.

Meanwhile, since October 7, more than 200 UNRWA personnel have been killed due to Israel’s continued bombardment of the Gaza Strip.

In Less Than A Day, Israel Killed Twelve Palestinians In West Bank

IMEMC reports: The Israeli occupation army has killed, overnight and earlier Tuesday, twelve Palestinians in Jenin, Tubas, and Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank.

In Jenin, the army fired a missile at the eastern neighborhood of the city, killing five Palestinians whose bodies have been severely mutilated.

Wisam Bakr, the director of the Jenin Governmental Hospital, said the severely mutilated corpses of five Palestinians were transferred to the medical facility after the army fired a missile at them in the Eastern Neighborhood, and prevented Palestinian medics from entering the area for several hours.

Israelis continue to protest detention of soldiers accused of raping Palestinian prisoner

Al Jazeera reports: Israelis are demonstrating in front of the military court at the Beit Lid base in the center of the country, to protest the continued detention of five reserve soldiers accused of sexually assaulting a Palestinian prisoner in Sde Teiman prison in the Negev desert.

Last week, dozens of Israeli protesters, including far-right members of the Knesset, clashed with military police after at least nine soldiers suspected of abusing a Palestinian prisoner were detained for questioning.

Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth said the demonstration comes ahead of the start of a court hearing on the third extension of the detention of the five soldiers.

Demonstrators chanted slogans such as “This is the state of the Jews and it precedes democracy” and called for the release of the accused soldiers.

Israeli reservists fail polygraph probing sexual abuse allegations: Report

Al Jazeera reports: Two Israeli reservists suspected of sexually abusing a Palestinian prisoner have failed a polygraph test about the allegations, reports Israel’s Channel 12.

The soldiers, among five still detained over sexual abuse allegations at Israel’s Sde Teiman facility, denied committing or covering up an act of sexual assault during the polygraph examination, but the examiner deemed their responses deceptive, said the report.

The allegations against the reservists have divided Israeli society, with a group of far-right activists storming the facility they were held at last week demanding their release.

Poll: Most Americans don’t want to send troops to defend Israel

Responsible Statecraft reports: According to a survey by the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, only 41% of Americans support the idea of U.S. troops defending Israel, even if its neighbors attacked it. This is a decrease from 53% in 2021 and represents the lowest level of support since the the council started tracking the question in 2010.

According to the survey, 55% of Americans overall are against the idea of sending troops to defend Israel. These numbers show a decrease in support from Republicans, typically Israel’s biggest supporters, from 72% in 2021 to 55% today. Democrats went from 42% in favor of defending Israel with U.S. troops in 2021 to 35% today.

The poll was conducted online from June 21 through July 1.

Americans still believe in a peacekeeping mission, however, with 54 percent of Americans supporting sending peacekeeping troops if a deal between Israel and the Palestinians is arranged and kept, according to the survey.

One Year in Prison and a Fine: NY Mask Ban Targets Palestine Protesters

Palestine Chronicle reports: New York’s suburban Nassau County has passed a bill to ban the wearing of masks intended to hide the identity of pro-Palestinian protesters against US support for Israel’s war in Gaza, Reuters has reported.

The mask ban will cover any sort of public protest, but lawmakers in the Republican-controlled county say that the bill aims to prevent protesters who engage in alleged violence and anti-Semitism from hiding their identity and avoiding accountability.

Civil rights advocates view the step as an infringement on free speech rights.

The bill was approved late on Monday, with all 12 Republicans in the county legislature voting in favor. The seven Democrats abstained.

Informed Comment reports: Presumptive Democratic Party standard-bearer Kamala Harris’ pick of Minnesota governor Tim Walz as her running mate has widely been implied to have something to do with his stance on the Gaza genocide.

On March 5, Super Tuesday, Abby Phillip at CNN asked Walz about the Gaza protest vote: “We’re seeing a fairly sizable, about 40,000 votes right now, 20 percent of the vote going to uncommitted. And we’ve seen that already in this primary in Michigan. What message are voters in your state trying to send to President Biden? And what do you want to see President Biden do in response?”

Walz replied, “Yeah, look, they’re engaged. We’re really proud of Minnesota civic responsibility. We have some of the highest voter turnouts. These are voters that are deeply concerned as we all are. The situation in Gaza is intolerable. And I think trying to find a solution, a lasting two-state solution, certainly the President’s move towards humanitarian aid and asking us to get to a ceasefire, that’s what they’re asking to be heard. And that’s what they should be doing. We’ve gone through this before. And we know that now we make sure we’ve got eight months. We start bringing these folks back in. We listen to what they’re saying.”

The important thing here is that Walz did not simply dismiss the Uncommitted movement or condemn it. He heard their concern and said it mirrored his own. “The situation in Gaza is intolerable.” He approved of getting “to a ceasefire” and humanitarian aid.

The Intercept reports: “Harris’s selection of Walz could also signal a shift from President Joe Biden’s stance on Israel’s war in Gaza.”

“Zogby, founder and president of the Arab American Institute, contrasted Walz with Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, who was widely reported to be the other frontrunner for Harris’s running mate, and believes that rejecting Shapiro in favor of Walz bodes well for Harris’s approach to the world.”

“It’s impossible to know exactly what calculations were made and what issues mattered the most,” Duss said, referring to the Walz selection. “But I think it’s clear that there is a growing constituency in the Democratic Party that takes the issue of Palestinian rights much more seriously than in previous years, and it has to be engaged with and its views have to be taken into account.”

“By deciding against Shapiro, Duss said, Harris is showing that she is to some degree listening to this movement within the party…”

“Some observers also noted Walz’s antiwar record while a member of Congress, pointing to his opposition to a war in Syria in 2013 and his support of repealing the 2001 Authorization for Use of Military Force, which has given the White House broad powers to bypass Congress to conduct attacks and military operations in other countries.”

The NY times reports: “Selecting Gov. Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania could mollify many Jewish voters and other centrists over a subject that has bedeviled the Biden-Harris administration for nearly a year, Israel’s war in Gaza. It could also inflame the left, which has been protesting the administration for months.

“Ms. Harris’s selection of Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota likely avoided fueling the Gaza demonstrations.”

Blinken says ceasefire negotiations have reached ‘final stage’

Al Jazeera reports: US Secretary of State Blinken has pressed for a ceasefire in Israel’s war on Gaza and warned against the possibility of worsening regional escalation.

Here are a few of Blinken’s key remarks:

An agreement between Israel and Hamas is in the “final stage” and called on all parties to finalise it “as soon as possible”.
Further attacks “only perpetuate” conflict, instability and insecurity.
The US has told Iran and Israel “directly” that regional fighting must not escalate further.
The Cradle reported yesterday that the US has agreed to guarantee that Israel will be able to resume the war against the Palestinian resistance in Gaza after the first phase of an exchange deal, according to Hebrew media.

If the ceasefire agreement says that Israel can resume the war, it is unlikely that Hamas will agree.

Turkey submits bid to join ICJ case against Israel

Middle East Eye reports: Turkey has reportedly submitted its formal bid to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to join South Africa’s genocide case against Israel.

According to the report, Turkey’s ambassador to the Netherlands, Selcuk Unal, presented a “comprehensive and detailed” application to the UN court in The Hague on Wednesday.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, who announced the move on Monday, said that Ankara has prepared a dossier that will likely significantly impact the trial.

Turkey’s intervention is expected to be the most impactful in the case, and likely to encourage other countries to join.

US and UK to boycott Nagasaki bombing memorial after Israel disinvited

Middle East Eye reports: The American and British ambassadors to Japan have announced they will skip an upcoming ceremony commemorating the victims of the US’s 1945 atomic bombing because the city’s mayor did not invite the Israeli ambassador.

The Russian and Belarusian ambassadors have also been excluded from the event this Friday by Japanese authorities.

The Nagasaki Peace Memorial Ceremony is intended to mark the 79th anniversary of the US atomic bomb attacks on Nagasaki and Hiroshima that killed tens of thousands of Japanese civilians, with many more later dying from radiation poisoning.

Pentagon confirms US troops injured in attack on Iraqi air base

The Cradle reports: At least five US soldiers and contractors were injured during a rocket attack that hit Iraq’s Ain al-Asad air base late on 5 August, Pentagon officials have confirmed.

US defense officials revealed to Reuters that at least one person was “seriously injured.” “Base personnel are conducting a post-attack damage assessment,” the unnamed officials added.

The US military took control of Ain al-Assad in 2003 following the White House’s illegal invasion and occupation of the country but withdrew its forces in 2011 when Barack Obama failed to secure a new Status of Forces (SOFA) agreement with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.

However, US forces returned to the base under the pretext of training Iraqis to fight ISIS six months after the extremist group invaded and occupied Mosul, Iraq’s second-largest city, in June 2014. They have remained there since.

Ain al-Assad air base had been targeted at least twice over the past three weeks as local resistance groups working under the Islamic Resistance in Iraq (IRI) umbrella have steadily resumed pro-Palestine operations that were halted earlier this year.

Wednesday’s attack comes just a few days after a US airstrike killed four members of the anti-terror Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) north of Babil.

Euro-Med Monitor reports that Gaza’s elderly are dying at an alarmingly high rate. The majority die at home and are buried either close to their residences or in makeshift graves dispersed across the Strip. There are currently more than 140 such cemeteries. Additionally, according to Euromed, thousands have died from starvation, malnourishment, and inadequate medical care; these are considered indirect victims as they were not registered in hospitals.

† For most of the conflict, women and children accounted for about 70% of deaths in Gaza, with children making up a little over 40% of those killed, according to official statistics.

There should be nothing surprising about the revelation that troops at Sde Teiman, a detention camp set up by Israel in the wake of Hamas’s 7 October attack on southern Israel, are routinely using rape as a weapon of torture against Palestinian inmates.

Last week, nine soldiers from a prison unit, Force 100, were arrested for gang-raping a Palestinian inmate with a sharp object. He had to be hospitalised with his injuries.

At least 53 prisoners are known to have died in Israeli detention, presumed in most cases to be either through torture or following the denial of access to medical care. No investigations have been carried out by Israel and no arrests have been made.

Why should it be of any surprise that Israel’s self-proclaimed “most moral army in the world” uses torture and rape against Palestinians? It would be truly surprising if this was not happening.

After all, this is the same military that for 10 months has used starvation as a weapon of war against the 2.3 million people of Gaza, half of them children.

It is the same military that since October has laid waste to all of Gaza’s hospitals, as well as destroying almost all of its schools and 70 percent of its homes. It is the same military that is known to have killed over that period at least 40,000 Palestinians, with a further 21,000 children missing.

It is the same military currently on trial for genocide at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), the highest court in the world.

If there are no red lines for Israel when it comes to brutalising Palestinian civilians trapped inside Gaza, why would there be any red lines for those kidnapped off its streets and dragged into its dungeons?

‘Black sites’ are about reminding those who have been colonised and enslaved of a simple lesson: resistance is futile

Months ago, the Israeli media began publishing testimonies from whistleblowing guards and doctors detailing the depraved conditions there.

The International Committee of the Red Cross has been denied access to the detention camp, leaving it entirely unmonitored.

The United Nations published a report on 31 July into the conditions in which some 9,400 captive Palestinians have been held since last October. Most have been cut off from the outside world, and the reason for their seizure and imprisonment was never provided.

The report concludes that “appalling acts” of torture and abuse are taking place at all of Israel’s detention centres, including sexual violence, waterboarding and attacks with dogs.

The authors note “forced nudity of both men and women; beatings while naked, including on the genitals; electrocution of the genitals and anus; being forced to undergo repeated humiliating strip searches; widespread sexual slurs and threats of rape; and the inappropriate touching of women by both male and female soldiers”.

There are, according to the investigation, “consistent reports” of Israeli security forces “inserting objects into detainees’ anuses”.

Last month, Save the Children found that many hundreds of Palestinian children had been imprisoned in Israel, where they faced starvation and sexual abuse.

And this week B’Tselem, Israel’s main human rights group monitoring the occupation, produced a report – titled “Welcome to Hell” – which included the testimonies of dozens of Palestinians who had emerged from what it called “inhuman conditions”. Most had never been charged with an offence.

It concluded that the abuses at Sde Teiman were “just the tip of the iceberg”. All of Israel’s detention centres formed “a network of torture camps for Palestinians” in which “every inmate is intentionally condemned to severe, relentless pain and suffering”. It added that this was “an organized, declared policy of the Israeli prison authorities”.

Tal Steiner, head of the Public Committee Against Torture in Israel, which has long campaigned against the systematic torture of Palestinian detainees, wrote last week that Sde Teiman “was a place where the most horrible torture we had ever seen was occurring”.

Can of worms

In short, it has been an open secret in Israel that torture and sexual assault are routine at Sde Teiman.

The abuse is so horrifying that last month Israel’s high court ordered officials to explain why they were operating outside Israel’s own laws governing the internment of “unlawful combatants”.

The surprise is not that sexual violence is being inflicted on Palestinian captives. It is that Israel’s top brass never imagined the arrest of Israeli soldiers for raping a Palestinian would pass muster with the public.

Instead, by making the arrests, the army opened a toxic can of worms.

The arrests provoked a massive backlash from soldiers, politicians, Israeli media, and large sections of the Israeli public.

Rioters, led by members of the Israeli parliament, broke into Sde Teiman. An even larger group, including members of Force 100, tried to invade a military base, Beit Lid, where the soldiers were being held in an attempt to free them.

The police, under the control of Itamar Ben Gvir, a settler leader with openly fascist leanings, delayed arriving to break up the protests. Ben Gvir has called for Palestinian prisoners to be summarily executed – or killed with “a shot to the head” – to save on the costs of holding them.

No one was arrested over what amounted to a mutiny as well as a major breach of security.

Bezalel Smotrich, Israel’s finance minister, helped whip up popular indignation, denouncing the arrests and describing the Force 100 soldiers as “heroic warriors”.

Other prominent cabinet ministers echoed him.

Already, three of the soldiers have been freed, and more will likely follow.

The consensus in Israel is that any abuse, including rape, is permitted against the thousands of Palestinians who have been seized by Israel in recent months – including women, children and many hundreds of medical personnel.

That consensus is the same one that thinks it fine to bomb Palestinian women and children in Gaza, destroy their homes and starve them.

Rape permitted

Such depraved attitudes are not new. They draw on ideological convictions and legal precedents that developed through decades of Israel’s illegal occupation. Israeli society has completely normalised the idea that Palestinians are less than human and that any and every abuse of them is allowed.

Hamas’s attack on 7 October simply brought the long-standing moral corruption at the core of Israeli society more obviously out into the open.

Why is the same western media obsessively reheating five-month-old allegations against Hamas so reluctant to focus on Israel’s current, horrifying atrocities?

In 2016, for example, the Israeli military appointed Colonel Eyal Karim as its chief rabbi, even after he had declared Palestinians to be “animals” and had approved the rape of Palestinian women in the interest of boosting soldiers’ morale.

Religious extremists, let us note, increasingly predominate among combat troops.

In 2015, Israel’s supreme court dismissed a compensation suit from a Lebanese prisoner that his lawyers submitted after he was released in a prisoner swap. Mustafa Dirani had been raped with a baton 15 years earlier in a secret jail known as Facility 1391.

Despite Dirani’s claim being supported by a medical assessment from the time made by an Israeli military doctor, the court ruled that anyone engaged in an armed conflict with Israel could not make a claim against the Israeli state.

Meanwhile, human and legal rights groups have regularly reported cases of Israeli soldiers and police raping and sexually assaulting Palestinians, including children.

A clear message was sent to Israeli soldiers over many decades that, just as the genocidal murder of Palestinians is considered warranted and “lawful”, the torture and rape of Palestinians held in captivity is considered warranted and “lawful” too.

Understandably, there was indignation that the long-established “rules” – that any and every atrocity is permitted – appeared suddenly and arbitrarily to have been changed.

On a precipice

The biggest question is this: why did the Israeli military’s top legal adviser approve opening an investigation into the Force 100 soldiers – and why now?

The answer is obvious. Israel’s commanders are in panic after a spate of setbacks in the international legal arena.

The ICJ, sometimes referred to as the World Court, has put Israel on trial for committing what it considers a “plausible” genocide in Gaza.

Separately, it concluded last month that Israel’s 57-year occupation is illegal and a form of aggression against the Palestinian people. Gaza never stopped being under occupation, the judges ruled, despite claims from its apologists, including western governments, to the contrary.

Significantly, that means Palestinians have a legal right to resist their occupation. Or, to put it another way, they have an immutable right to self-defence against their Israeli occupiers, while Israel has no such right against the Palestinians it illegally occupies.

Israel is not in “armed conflict” with the Palestinian people. It is brutally occupying and oppressing them.

Israel must immediately end the occupation to regain such a right of self-defence - something it demonstrably has no intention to do.

The legal ruling by the world's highest court obliges western states not just to end their persecution of the boycott movement but to take up that cause as their own

Meanwhile, the chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), the ICJ’s sister court, is actively seeking arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his defence minister, Yoav Gallant, for war crimes.

The various cases reinforce each other. The World Court’s decisions are making it ever harder for the ICC to drag its feet in issuing and expanding the circle of arrest warrants.

Both courts are now under enormous, countervailing pressures.

On the one side, massive external pressure is being exerted on the ICJ and ICC from states such as the US, Britain and Germany that are prepared to see the genocide in Gaza continue.

And on the other, the judges themselves are fully aware of what is at stake if they fail to act.

The longer they delay, the more they discredit international law and their own role as arbiters of that law. That will give even more leeway for other states to claim that inaction by the courts has set a precedent for their own right to commit war crimes.

International law, the entire rationale for the ICJ and ICC’s existence, stands on a precipice. Israel’s genocide threatens to bring it all crashing down.

Stalling the ICC

Israel’s top brass stand in the middle of that fight.

They are confident that Washington will block at the UN Security Council any effort to enforce the ICJ rulings against them – either a future one on genocide in Gaza or the existing one on their illegal occupation.

But arrest warrants from the ICC are a different matter. Washington has no such veto. All states signed up to the ICC’s Rome Statute – that is, most of the West, minus the US – will be obligated to arrest Israeli officials who step on their soil and to hand them over to The Hague.

Israel and the US had been hoping to use technicalities to delay the issuing of the arrest warrants for as long as possible. Most significantly, they recruited the UK, which has signed the Rome Statute, to do their dirty work.

It looked like the new UK government under Keir Starmer would continue where its predecessor left off by tying up the court in lengthy and obscure legal debates about the continuing applicability of the long-dead, 30-year-old Oslo Accords.

A former human rights lawyer, Starmer has repeatedly backed Israel’s “plausible” genocide, even arguing that the starvation of Gaza’s population, including its children, could be justified as “self-defence” – an idea entirely alien to international law, which treats it as collective punishment and a war crime.

But now with a secure parliamentary majority, even Starmer appears to be baulking at being seen as helping Netanyahu personally avoid arrest for war crimes.

The UK government announced late last month that it would drop Britain’s legal objections at the ICC.

That has suddenly left both Netanyahu and the Israeli military command starkly exposed – which is the reason they felt compelled to approve the arrest of the Force 100 soldiers.

Under a rule known as “complementarity”, Israeli officials might be able to avoid war crimes trials at The Hague if they can demonstrate that Israel is able and willing to prosecute war crimes itself. That would avert the need for the ICC to step in and fulfil its mandate.

The Israeli top brass hoped they could feed a few lowly soldiers to the Israeli courts and drag out the trials for years. In the meantime, Washington would have the pretext it needed to bully the ICC into dropping the case for arrests on the grounds that Israel was already doing the job of prosecuting war crimes.

International isolation

The patent problem with this strategy is that the ICC isn’t primarily interested in a few grunts being prosecuted in Israel as war criminals, even assuming the trials ever take place.

At issue is the military strategy that has allowed Israel to bomb Gaza into the Stone Age. At issue is a political culture that has made starving 2.3 million people seem normal.

At issue is a religious and nationalistic fervour long cultivated in the army that now encourages soldiers to execute Palestinian children by shooting them in the head and chest, as a US doctor who volunteered in Gaza has testified.

At issue is a military hierarchy that turns a blind eye to soldiers raping and sexually abusing Palestinian captives, including children.

The buck stops not with a handful of soldiers in Force 100. It stops with the Israeli government and military leaders. They are at the top of a command chain that has authorised war crimes in Gaza for the past 10 months – and before that, for decades across the occupied territories.

This is why observers have totally underestimated what is at stake with the rulings of the ICC and ICJ.

These judgments against Israel are forcing out into the light of day for proper scrutiny a state of affairs that has been quietly accepted by the West for decades. Should Israel have the right to operate as an apartheid regime that systematically engages in ethnic cleansing and the murder of Palestinians?

A direct answer is needed from each western capital. There is nowhere left to hide. Western states are being presented with a stark choice: either openly back Israeli apartheid and genocide, or for the first time withdraw support.

The Israeli far-right, which now dominates both politically and in the army’s combat ranks, cares about none of this. It is immune to pressure. It is willing to go it alone.

As the Israeli media has been warning for some time, sections of the army are effectively now turning into militias that follow their own rules.

Israel’s military commanders, on the other hand, are starting to understand the trap they have set for themselves. They have long cultivated fascistic zealotry among ground troops needed to dehumanise and better oppress Palestinians living under Israeli occupation. But the war crimes proudly being live-streamed by their units now leave them exposed to the legal consequences.

Israel’s international isolation means a place one day for them in the dock at The Hague.

War machine cornered

The ICC and ICJ rulings are not just bringing Israeli society’s demons out into the open, or those of a complicit western political and media class.

The international legal order is gradually cornering Israel’s war machine, forcing it to turn in on itself. The interests of the Israeli military command are now fundamentally opposed to those of the rank and file and the political leadership.

The result, as military expert Yagil Levy has long warned, will be an increasing breakdown of discipline, as the attempts to arrest Force 100 soldiers demonstrated all too clearly.

The Israeli military juggernaut cannot be easily or quickly turned around.

The military command is reported to be furiously trying to push Netanyahu into agreeing on a hostage deal to bring about a ceasefire – not because it cares about the welfare of Palestinian civilians, or the hostages, but because the longer this “plausible” genocide continues, the bigger chance the generals will end up at The Hague.

Israel’s zealots are ignoring the pleas of the top brass. They want not only to continue the drive to eliminate the Palestinian people but to widen the circle of war, whatever the consequences.

That included the reckless, incendiary move last week to assassinate Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Iran – a provocation with one aim only: to undermine the moderates in Hamas and Tehran.

If, as seems certain, Israel’s commanders are unwilling or incapable of reining in these excesses, then the World Court will find it impossible to ignore the charge of genocide against Israel and the ICC will be compelled to issue arrest warrants against more of the military leadership.

A logic has been created in which evil feeds on evil in a death spiral. The question is how much more carnage and misery can Israel spread on the way down.

Palestinian prisoners being raped, tortured and murdered in Israeli prisons: “I am proud of that,” says National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir
Far-right supporters of Israel's military-industrial complex are fuming mad that nine IDF (Israel Defense Forces) soldiers were arrested for allegedly raping and torturing a Palestinian prisoner.
Numerous members of the Israeli parliament joined other Israelis in storming the Sde Teiman detention center in southern Israel's Negev desert where the nine Israeli soldiers are being held on suspicion of inflicting cruel and unusual punishment on Palestinians captives.

Since the Hamas attack from last October, roughly 4,000 Palestinians have been detained at Sde Teiman. The vast majority of them end up being interrogated for information, even if they are obvious non-combatants.

For decades, Palestinians have been held at Sde Teiman as part of the Israeli military's efforts to extract intelligence from them. Many of them end up being tortured, raped, or even murdered while under the control of IDF soldiers.

Israeli leaders celebrate worsening conditions for Palestinian prisoners

The way Israel treats its prisoners is something of an exception in the civilized world. The sheer barbarism of what is now coming to light about rape, torture and murder within Israel's detention facilities is nothing short of shocking.

National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir fully admits that conditions "have indeed worsened" over time at Sde Teiman, but instead of apologizing and promising reform, Gvir is publicly celebrating these revelations.

"I am proud of that," Gvir said in full support of the abuse Palestinian prisoners are having to endure.

Gvir is proud that detainees at Sde Teiman are kept blindfolded at all times – and if they try to peek out, guards start beating them. He is also proud that detainees are prohibited from speaking to other detainees – and if they are caught, Israeli guards force them to hold their hands above their head for upwards of an hour as punishment.

In some cases, prisoners at Sde Teiman are forced to have their hands zip-tied to a fence to keep them in a stress position. Violators of any of Israel's arbitrary prison rules routinely result in extreme beatings that shatter teeth and bones.

The New York Times reported that one Palestinian who was brought to Sde Teiman was beaten after falling asleep upon arrival. The prisoner was told by an Israeli guard that "this is the punishment for anyone who sleeps."

A 39-year-old Palestinian nurse who was captured by IDF soldiers in Gaza was forced to sit in a chair wired with electricity at Sde Teiman. The constant shocks the nurse received caused him to urinate uncontrollably before losing his ability to urinate entirely after four days.

Other Israeli torture and terrorization methods that Gvir is proud of include:

- Setting dogs loose on sleeping detainees

- Throwing sound grenades at sleeping detainees

- Throwing detainees in a "disco room" where they are forced to listen to extremely loud music (one detainee said the sounds in the disco room are so loud that his ear started bleeding)

- Denying detainees food and water

"I was naked, cold, beaten, starving, exhausted, and completely drained," said 26-year-old Moaz Muhammad Khamis Miqdad who on December 21 of last year was rounded up at gunpoint by Israeli soldiers while sheltering with his family at a school in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of Gaza City.

"If any prisoner fell asleep, the soldiers would viciously beat him on the head or chest to keep him awake. They wanted us to stay between life and death."

At least 19 killed when Israel bombs several camps in besieged Gaza Strip


Middle East Monitor reports: At least 19 Palestinians were reportedly killed and several others injured on Sunday in an Israeli attack targeting various areas of the besieged Gaza Strip.

Separately, Israeli army vehicles stationed on the eastern border of the central governorate fired intensively at eastern areas of the Bureij and Maghazi camps.

Children among 30 killed after Israel bombs two schools in Gaza without warning

Al Jazeera reports: At least 30 people have been killed and many others injured in Israeli strikes on two United Nations-run schools in the west of Gaza City.

The latest death toll was reported to Al Jazeera by Dr Marwan al-Hams, the director of hospitals in the Gaza Ministry of Health.

According to the Palestinian Civil Defense in Gaza, 80 percent of those killed and injured in the strikes on Sunday on the Hassan Salama and al-Nasr schools were children.

Reporting from Deir el-Balah, Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud said that the schools, which have been used as shelters by displaced Palestinians, have been severely damaged.

“This is the same exact scenario that we’ve seen in the past few days. What we know for a fact right now is that there is [a] concentration of attacks on evacuation centers. What’s really concerning about that is … that the Israeli military is not giving any prior warning to people inside these evacuation centers,” Mahmoud said.

The correspondent noted that most of the buildings used as shelters for the displaced in Gaza are schools, as they are the only large spaces available now to house a significant number of people.

“This is happening in an unpredictable way, causing severe casualties and increasing the trauma of a population already displaced in some cases up to five, six or seven times across the northern part of the Gaza Strip,” Mahmoud said.

Sunday’s attacks followed the bombing of a school on Saturday by the Israeli army. Following Sunday’s attacks, at least 15 people were killed in Israeli air raids on the Hamama school in the Sheikh Radwan neighbohood in Gaza City, which was sheltering displaced Palestinians.



Israel orders Palestinians to leave from southern, southeastern parts of Khan Younis

Al Jazeera reports: The Israeli military has issued a new order for Palestinians to leave the southern and southeastern parts of Khan Younis in Gaza, according to Al Jazeera’s Hind Khoudary in Deir el-Balah.

The residents of these areas were warned that “any presence of civilians in these areas is dangerous and of high risk”, she said.

It was not clear where people were expected to flee, as there is no safe place left in the enclave.

Earlier this month, the United Nations said more than 86 percent of Gaza was already affected by Israel’s so-called evacuation orders, with most people asked to live in small “safe zones” that repeatedly come under Israeli attacks.

Palestinian detainees describe torture in Israel’s Ofer Prison

Al Jazeera reports: Three Palestinians from Gaza who are being held in Israel’s Ofer Prison have recounted abuse and mistreatment, according to the Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs.

Mohammed Jamous, 44; Fadi Ayad, 39; and Fadi Howaydi, 38, told the commission’s lawyer who visited them last week that they were stripped of their clothes, beaten, tortured, bound and blindfolded.

The detainees described Israeli soldiers as “rabid beasts” who took pleasure in their suffering.

“We were turned into prey to these monsters, who enjoyed our hunger, thirst, screams and illnesses. We still do not believe that we are still alive,” a prisoner was quoted as saying.

The abuse, according to the detainees, began immediately upon their detention in Gaza and continued through transportation in military vehicles where they faced insults, degradation and torture.

“Today, we are all sick,” a detainee said, according to the commission. “Our bodies are exhausted, and we have become prey to illness and injury. No medical treatment or medication is provided. Despite these dire conditions, we cling to the hope of returning to our families alive.”

Israel extends detention of 5 soldiers accused of sexually assaulting Gaza prisoner


Middle East Monitor reports: An Israeli military court yesterday extended the detention of five soldiers accused of sexually assaulting a Palestinian prisoner from Gaza in the Sde Teiman detention facility, according to local media.

Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper said that the military court ruled that the men could be held until tomorrow. They are accused of sexually and physically assaulting a Palestinian prisoner from the Gaza Strip.

The newspaper quoted Judge Lt. Col. Toby Hart as saying that there is a reasonable and solid basis to assume that the detainee was harmed, and that there is reasonable suspicion that the five harmed the detainee together.

A year of silence in Gaza’s classrooms: the urgent need for educational revival

ReliefWeb reports: Children in Gaza have lost one year of education. As of 30 July 2024, all the 625,000 enrolled students in Gaza have lost one full scholastic year.

39,000 students missed the Tawjihi (12th grade official exams) for the first time in decades. This means none of them can transition to higher education, and the majority of them may never return to school again.

In place of being full of children eager to learn, school buildings are housing displaced families desperately seeking safety, when they are not being damaged. Mattresses and blankets fill classrooms and hallways; desks are repurposed as walls and wardrobes, and playgrounds are filled with tents and tarpaulins.

This places a massive strain on the limited WASH facilities. At the same time, overcrowding contributes to an unhygienic environment and rapid spread of disease, increased protection risks due to lack of privacy, and damage to furniture and equipment.

These conditions have had a significant negative impact on the mental health and psychosocial well-being of children, teachers, and caregivers, as well as severely harming the ability of children in Gaza to exercise their right to learn.

As of 30 July, according to the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) – State of Palestine, 9,211 students and 397 educational staff members have been killed by the Israeli forces, while more than 14,237 students and 2,246 teachers have been injured since 7 October in the Gaza Strip.

The educational infrastructure in Gaza has also been significantly affected with 92.9% of schools sustained some level of damage to their buildings, including Direct hit, Damaged, and Likely damaged.

At least 84.6% of schools require full reconstruction or significant rehabilitation before resuming schooling. One-third of directly hit or heavily damaged schools are UN-run schools under UNRWA’s jurisdiction.

At least 10,000 Israeli soldiers killed, injured in Gaza war: Report

Andalou Agency reports: At least 10,000 Israeli soldiers have been killed and injured since the outbreak of the Gaza conflict last Oct. 7, according to Israeli media on Sunday.

Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper said some 1,000 soldiers are transferred every month to the Defense Ministry’s rehabilitation department due to injuries sustained in the Gaza war.

“The army is suffering from a shortage of at least 10,000 soldiers killed or wounded during the long months of fighting in the Gaza Strip,” the daily said.

The newspaper criticized the Knesset (Israel’s parliament) for going on summer break from July 22 until mid-October without passing legislation to extend mandatory military service.

According to the newspaper, female soldiers serving in Israel-occupied Syrian Golan Heights were unexpectedly informed of an additional four-month extension of their service.

Illegal Israeli settlers storm Al-Aqsa Mosque amid rise in tensions

Andalou Agency reports: Under Israeli police protection, a mob of illegal Israeli settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Jerusalem on Sunday.

Israeli forces and illegal settlers entered the flashpoint mosque performing religious rituals while Israeli police established checkpoints around the Old City of East Jerusalem, restricting Palestinian access to the mosque, according to official Palestinian news agency Wafa.

Separately, the Palestinian Awqaf and Religious Affairs Ministry released a monthly report detailing increased violations at Al-Aqsa Mosque and Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron, reporting that Israel conducted 23 raids on Al-Aqsa Mosques this July.

The report also highlighted that Israeli forces had obstructed the call to prayer at Ibrahimi Mosque 43 times last month and prevented Palestinians from entering the mosque.

The illegal settler incursion came amid rising tensions across the occupied West Bank as Israel continued its brutal offensive on the Gaza Strip, which has killed nearly 40,000 people since last October following a Hamas attack.

Israel blocking and letting aid rot ‘first phase of its genocide,’: Turkish FM

Al Jazeera reports: Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan says Israel’s practice of blocking aid, killing aid workers, blocking evacuations, and allowing humanitarian supplies to rot are crimes against humanity and the “first phase of the genocide”.

His remarks came after a visit to Egypt’s El Arish port and the Rafah border.

Fidan urged the global community not to remain silent on “Israel’s oppression” and called for “greater efforts” to ensure that aid reaches Gaza without being obstructed or interrupted.

Tel Aviv: Two Israelis Killed, Three Injured, Perpetrator Killed

IMEMC reports: Two Israelis were killed and three others were injured, on Sunday morning, in the city of Holon, south of Tel Aviv in central Israel, while the perpetrator of the attack, a Palestinian man, was killed by occupation police.

Media sources said that a Palestinian man carried out a stabbing attack in the city of Holon, south of Tel Aviv, killing two Israelis and injuring three others, two seriously.

Sources added that an Israeli police officer shot the Palestinian perpetrator, critically injuring him; he later died.

Media sources identified the perpetrator as 35-year-old Ammar Rizq Kamel Odeh, from the central West Bank city of Salfit, while police later arrested a Palestinian man accused of assisting the perpetrator in the attack.

After the attack, Israeli forces closed the northern entrance to the city of Salfit with an iron gate, and prevented Palestinian citizens from entering or leaving the city.

Later, the army invaded the city of Salfit, and stormed the family home of the slain perpetrator, detained and interrogated his family members, and prevented press crews from the area.

Ben-Gvir renews call for more Israeli civilians to take up arms

Al Jazeera reports: In the context of the recent stabbing, Israeli national security minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir said that he’s calling for more civilians to take up arms and use them. This has been quite a controversial policy that he’s had throughout this war.

He has essentially expedited the way that a regular, average person can obtain a weapon in Israel, and it’s been something that has caused a lot of backlash.

He’s even distributed weapons to people in the occupied West Bank, including settlers.

Israel adds new conditions to Gaza ceasefire proposal


Middle East Monitor reports: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu added a new condition to the proposed prisoner exchange deal, including the deportation of about 150 Palestinian prisoners, according to Israeli media.

Israel’s Channel 13 quoted unnamed informed sources as saying that Netanyahu added several new conditions to the prisoner exchange deal proposal, including the deportation of several Palestinian prisoners who will be released from prisons in Israel under the terms of the deal.

The sources told the Israeli channel that these 150 prisoners are accused of killing Israelis.

They noted that Netanyahu proposes deporting them to countries such as Turkiye or Qatar and banning them from ever returning to the Gaza Strip or the occupied West Bank.

Israel seizes $26m tax funds meant for Palestinian Authority

Al Jazeera reports: Far-right Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich has ordered the seizure of about 100 million shekels ($26m) of tax funds meant to be transferred to the Palestinian Authority.

He says the money will be given to the families of Israeli victims of “terror” inflicted by Palestinians.

“The fight against terrorism is not only a military fight but a combined fight that includes a war against the wild incitement of the Palestinian Authority and the terrorist funds which it directs from its budget to the families of terrorists,” Smotrich wrote in a post on X.

“We will continue to protect the security of the citizens of Israel and fight with all the tools at our disposal against terrorism and its supporters.”

‘Order from Amazon’: How tech giants are storing mass data for Israel’s war

+972 Magazine reports: A new investigation by +972 and Local Call can reveal that the Israeli army has in fact stored some intelligence information collected via the mass surveillance of Gaza’s population on servers managed by Amazon’s AWS. The investigation can also reveal that certain cloud providers supplied a wealth of AI capabilities and services to Israeli army units since the start of the Gaza war.

Military sources emphasized to +972 and Local Call that the scope of intelligence collected from the surveillance of all Palestinian residents of Gaza is so large that it cannot be stored on military servers alone.

Three sources who took part in Israeli army attacks said that it was used in a number of cases to provide “supplementary information” ahead of airstrikes against suspected military operatives, some of which killed many civilians.

In particular, according to intelligence sources, much more extensive storage capabilities and processing power were needed to keep billions of audio files (as opposed to just textual information or metadata), which compelled the army to turn to the cloud services offered by tech companies.

As +972 and Local Call revealed in a previous investigation, the Israeli army authorized the killing of “hundreds of civilians” in attacks against senior Hamas commanders at the level of brigade commander and sometimes even battalion commander. In some of these cases, security sources explained, Amazon’s cloud was operationalized.

Sources said that the AWS-based system is particularly useful for Israeli intelligence because it can hold information “on everyone,” with no storage limitations.

Turkiye blocks Freedom Flotilla setting sail for Gaza


Middle East Monitor reports: Turkish authorities have blocked the new Freedom Flotilla, carrying urgent and lifesaving aid to Gaza in an attempt to break Israel’s siege on the Strip, from departing Istanbul, organisers reported.

The Freedom Flotilla Coalition, comprising multiple humanitarian and pro-Palestinian groups, issued a statement on Saturday announcing that they had been awaiting approval from the Istanbul port authority to set sail.

“It has now become clear that the Turkish government will not grant permission,” the statement said.

The coalition added that the government did not offer “any explanation” for preventing the flotilla to sail, but placed the blame on “intense pressure from the United States, the United Kingdom, and perhaps other NATO countries that are strongly allied with Israel.”

In May 2010, the six-vessel Freedom Flotilla I was intercepted by the Israeli navy, with Israeli commandos boarding the Turkish lead ship, the Mavi Marmara, opening fire and killing nine activists.

Pope Francis says assassinations ‘never a solution’

Al Jazeera reports: Pope Francis has once again appealed to all sides to resume negotiations to achieve an “immediate ceasefire in Gaza and on all fronts”.

The pope also denounced “attacks, even targeted ones, and killings” in an address to thousands of pilgrims and tourists in St Peter’s Square.

Such attacks “can never be a solution”, he said, adding that they “do not help us walk in the path of justice, the path of peace, but generate even more hatred and revenge”.

US says military moves in Middle East aimed at de-escalating tensions


Reuters reports: The US is deploying additional military might in the Middle East as a defensive measure with a goal of de-escalating tensions in the region, a White House official said on Sunday.

US President, Joe Biden, will convene his national security team in the situation room on Monday to discuss developments in the Middle East, the White House said, adding that he would speak with Jordan’s King Abdullah as well.

US news service, Axios, reported that US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, told his counterpart from G7 countries that Iran and Hezbollah could start attacking Israel as early as Monday, citing three sources briefed on the call. But Blinken, according to Axios, said it was unclear how Iran and Hezbollah would attack and did not know the exact timing.

“The overall goal is to turn the temperature down in the region, deter and defend against those attacks, and avoid regional conflict,” Jonathan Finer, the White House’s deputy National Security Adviser, said on CBS‘ “Face the Nation” program.

Israeli newspaper Ha’aretz reports that Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro “has made his Jewish identity central to his career…. ‘Israel not only has a right to defend itself, it has a responsibility to combat Hamas,’ he said recently.”

Ha’aretz continues: “His presence on the ticket would bolster its already historic Jewish presence – Harris’ husband Doug Emhoff is the first Jewish spouse of a U.S. president or vice president in American history.”

“Upon graduating from Georgetown University Law Center, Shapiro worked on Capitol Hill for Jewish lawmakers like Michigan Sen. Carl Levin and Florida Rep. Peter Deutsch, who moved to the Israeli city Ra’anana after failing in his 2004 Senate bid.”

“He has also bucked growing Democratic criticism of Israel’s conduct in Gaza in recent months, insisting to the Jewish Democratic Council of America that “Israel not only has a right to defend itself, I think Israel has a responsibility to combat Hamas head-on and to defeat Hamas.”

Jewish Insider reports: In The New York Times, pollster and former Clinton adviser Mark Penn endorses Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, writing that he “would be the highest-ranking Jewish official in U.S. history. He has supported Israel and has been strongly critical of the campus protests.”

The Philadelphia Inquirer reports He volunteered in the IDF.

Salon reports: “On the contentious issue of Israel’s relentless war against civilians in Gaza, Shapiro sounds much less bothered by the lethal violence than by U.S. activists for Palestinian lives, many of whom he has demonized.”

The New york Times reports that Shapiro “has been unapologetic in his love for Israel; he has visited often and even proposed to his wife there.”

Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker also has a long history of support for Israel.

On Oct 10, he spoke at a Jewish United Fund sponsored Israeli Solidarity Gathering, saying: “We need to stand with Israel.”

The Capital News report on the event noted: “Israeli airstrikes have killed at least 800 and wounded more than 4,000 Palestinians in the days following the initial attack.

“Pritzker’s address included a message of support for the Israeli military.

“We pray today for the strength and safety of the men and women of the Israeli Defense Forces as they embark on this most difficult and important mission,” the governor said. “Each step of the way they should know, and the people of Israel should know, that America and Illinois unequivocally stands with them in their battle to end the ongoing Hamas attacks. We stand with Israel.”

By then, Israeli forces had killed 900 in Gaza (over 18 in West Bank), injured 4,500 in Gaza (100 in West Bank), killed 260 children and 230 women; and displaced: 200,000. A large part of Gaza City’s Rimal neighborhood was reduced to rubble after hours of airstrikes. Residents found buildings torn in half or demolished to mounds of concrete and rebar. Cars were flattened and trees burned out on residential streets transformed into moonscapes.” Israel had impsed a ‘total’ blockade on Gaza, including ban on admission of food, electricity and fuel.

On Oct 17 Pritzker announced tax relief for individuals and businesses affected by the attacks that took place in Israel.

In January he opposed a Chicago resolution backing a cease-fire.

The Times of Israel reports: “J.B. Pritzker is the scion of a wealthy Jewish hotelier family long involved in Democratic politics. His sister Penny, a major donor to Barack Obama’s presidential campaigns.”

The Pritzker family (net worth: $32.5B) is one of the wealthiest families in the U.S. It is known for being pro-Israel. The Chicago Tribune reported in 1985: “The Pritzker family buys $500,000 worth of Israel bonds each year and, besides their other philanthropies, also makes donations to universities and institutions in Israel.

JTA reports that J.B. Pritzker “has served on the board of AIPAC.” [Also see this.] He is “the scion of the Hyatt hotel family with deep Jewish community ties.” [His net worth is $3.5B]

Pritzker emceed a fundraiser for Friends of the IDF in 2013.

Palestinian death toll from October 7 – August 4: at least 40,186* (39,623 in Gaza* – 11,445 women (30%), 16,251 children as of July 22. [The Ministry’s figures have been contested by the Israeli authorities, although they have been accepted as accurate by Israeli intelligence services, the UN, and WHO. These data are supported by independent analyses, comparing changes in the number of deaths of UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) staff with those reported by the Ministry, which found claims of data fabrication implausible.]

This is expected to be a significant undercount since thousands of those killed have yet to be identified – and at least 604 in the West Bank (~140 children). This does not include an estimated 10,000 more still buried under rubble (4,900 women and children). Euro-Med Monitor reports 46,848 Palestinian deaths.

Lancet: “Applying a conservative estimate of four indirect deaths per one direct death9 to the 37,396 deaths reported, it is not implausible to estimate that up to 186 000 or even more deaths could be attributable to the current conflict in Gaza.

Ralph Nader earlier estimated 200,000 Palestinians may have been killed in Gaza.

At least 45 Palestinians have died in Israeli prisons (27 from Gaza, 18 from West Bank).
At least 41 Palestinians have died due to malnutrition**.
About 1.7 million, or 75% of Gaza’s population are currently displaced.
2.15 million (out of total population of 2.3 million) are projected to face Crisis or worse levels of food insecurity.
Palestinian injuries from October 7 – August 4: at least 96,818 (including at least 91,469 in Gaza and 5,420 in the West Bank, including 830 children). [It remains unknown how man Americans are among the casualties in Gaza.]

Reported Israeli death toll from October 7 – August 4: ~1,486 (~1,139 on October 7, 2023, of which ~32 were Americans, and ~36 were children); 331 military forces since the ground invasion began in Gaza; 16 in the West Bank) and~8,730 injured.

Times of Israel reports: The IDF listed 41 soldiers killed due to friendly fire in Gaza and other military-related accidents – nearly 16%.

NOTE: It is unknown at this time how many of the deaths and injuries in Israel on October 7 were caused by Israeli soldiers.

*Previously, IAK did not include 471 Gazans killed in the Al Ahli hospital blast since the source of the projectile was being disputed. However, given that much evidence points to Israel as the culprit, Israel had previously bombed the hospital and has attacked many others, Israel is prohibiting outside experts from investigating the scene, and since the UN and other agencies are including the deaths from the attack in their cumulative totals, if Americans knew is now also doing so.**

Euro-Med Monitor reports that Gaza’s elderly are dying at an alarmingly high rate. The majority die at home and are buried either close to their residences or in makeshift graves dispersed across the Strip. There are currently more than 140 such cemeteries. Additionally, according to Euromed, thousands have died from starvation, malnourishment, and inadequate medical care; these are considered indirect victims as they were not registered in hospitals.

† For most of the conflict, women and children accounted for about 70% of deaths in Gaza, with children making up a little over 40% of those killed, according to official statistics.

Germany's MSM Welt just declared that the unvaccinated are the winners during the corona pandemic and demands apologies from government officials for lying about the "pandemic of the unvaccinated."

...that's a very exciting story because the winners for me are the unvaccinated during the Corona times. They have now been rehabilitated. And there's nothing left to argue about that. It turned out when the unredacted protocols of the crisis team at the Robert Koch Institute were opened that already in November 2021 it was officially determined by them that the statement, the pandemic is a pandemic of the unvaccinated, is not correct. Literally not correct.

Mr. Spahn, the Health Minister. Mr. Söder, Mr. Lauterbach, Mr. Ramelow from the Left Party. And, hear this, the Federal President, Mr. Steinmeier, also propagated this, in the highest instance, so to speak. This is simply an impossible story. And I think they should now publicly apologize for it.

German Media Admits Unvaxxed Are ‘Winners,’ Demands Government ‘Apologize’

A major corporate media outlet in Germany has just declared that people who refused to take Covid mRNA shots during and after the pandemic are “the winners.”

During a bombshell segment on German legacy media outlet Welt, the panel argued that the government owes the public an apology for claiming Covid was a “pandemic of the unvaccinated.”

Prominent German reporter Hans-Ulrich Jörges said the unvaccinated were “the winners” because they refused to comply with the government’s mass vaccination agenda.

Jörges called for public apologies from key government officials who perpetuated the narrative that the pandemic was solely a “pandemic of the unvaccinated.”

He began the discussion by reflecting on the pandemic era.

The journalists described the Covid pandemic as a challenging time marked by confusion and fear.

However, he then declared that those who refused to submit to government and media pressure to get vaccinated have now been proved correct.

“The winners for me are the unvaccinated during the Covid times” he proclaimed.

“They have now been proved right.

“And there’s nothing left to argue about that.”

He cited the bombshell revelations from the unredacted crisis team protocols from the Robert Koch Institute.

“It was officially determined by them that the statement, ‘the pandemic is a pandemic of the unvaccinated,’ is not correct,” Jörges highlighted.

“Literally not correct,” he emphasized.

Underscoring the severe implications of these false claims, Jörges noted the injustices faced by the unvaccinated.

“There was this 2G rule, that only vaccinated and recovered people could move around freely,” he lamented.

“The unvaccinated were not allowed to go to the cinema, theater, concert, or restaurant.

“They couldn’t do anything except work, even though they had to get tested every day.”

For many, these infringements were not just inconvenient but they stripped the public of their personal freedoms and dignity.

In a powerful call for accountability, Jörges named powerful government officials and prominent figures.

He argued that they should come forward and apologize to the German people.

“There are all those who championed the phrase ‘pandemic of the unvaccinated,’” Jörges noted.

“Mr. Spahn, the Health Minister. Mr. Söder, Mr. Lauterbach, Mr. Ramelow from the Left Party.

“And, hear this, the Federal President, Mr. Steinmeier, also propagated this,” he stated.

The reporter expressed disbelief and disappointment in these leaders’ actions.

“And they have been insulted and berated in such a way that one can only be ashamed of it in retrospect,” he asserted.

Jörges continued by demanding direct action against those responsible.

“I think they should now publicly apologize for it,” he said.

“I want to see someone stand up, have the courage, and say, ‘I was wrong back then, I’m sorry, now I see what has happened to many people because of this, I apologize.’”

He cited Spahn’s earlier statement: “We will have to forgive a lot at the end of the pandemic.”

Jörges argued that Spahn should be the first to act and ask for forgiveness.

It Is Time for Freedom of Speech in the Freedom Movement
We need to be disciplined enough to be present with the discomfort that comes with disagreement as we listen and communicate about all the critical issues of the day with each other~

There, in my inbox, was another substack essay on nanotechnology….a thoughtful, serious piece discussing why we should not fall for the concept that nanotechnology can actually control human behavior and thought or the way that human beings conduct themselves.

The discussion made a lot of sense. And so do the microscopists — those scientists, including chemists, pathologists, engineers, and others examining the “COVID vaccines,” the nanotechnology, the quantum dots, the “white clots,” the graphene oxide, and all else being found in human blood and various matter present in human injectables, ingestables, and breathables.

The dissenting author I read mentioned one of our other colleagues (colleagues being those fighters for freedom, liberty, biological integrity, health, science, and community). The dispute centered around the ability of any science to actually technologically control human thought. I winced as I read this.

Not because I fully agreed or disagreed with either person, but because I knew human feelings would be stirred up, maybe hurt, maybe angered. Those feelings would swirl around the concepts of the debate, but also generally through the readers of each person and their colleagues. And those feelings can get in the way. Because the discussions, the disagreements, and the differences of view about the details and degrees of dangers are critical conversations.

We should be having these conversations all the time.


I am not going to parse that science debate in this essay in detail — that is for another time. I will say that the desire to control the thoughts and actions of others is a hallmark of dark “science” used by the Central Intelligence Agency and Department of Defense divisions as well as some aspects of medicine and psychology. From the early psychiatric ice pick lobotomies in the 1950s to the psychosurgery experiments at some of the highest academic centers in medicine, including Harvard, Brown, Tulane, McGill, University of Mississippi, Wayne State, and many more, there have been attempts to modulate, deter, and control behavior. Dr. Breggin devoted several years of his life to putting a stop to the psychosurgery resurgence that began in the late 1960s into the 1970s.

The Desire to Control is not the Same as Being Able to Control Human Thoughts

The desire to control human thoughts and actions is not the same as being able to control human thoughts and actions. At this point, “what science can do is damage the human brain through various means — surgical, electrical, energy wave frequencies, blunt force trauma, and drugs,” according to psychiatrist Peter Breggin MD. He explains that a human being can be stopped, subdued, or deterred, just as the furious bull was stopped in its tracks in the arena by psychosurgeon Delgado, through electrical shocks in 1963. It came to a dead stop, shaking its head. The brain-damaging effect of the shock had paralyzed the beast momentarily without actually changing or averting his desire to charge. The shock was the equivalent of being stunned by a blow to the head. Dr. Breggin has examined this issue further in his new essay “The Elite Strategy to Physically Ruin Our Brains, Minds and Willpower.”

The Desire to Control May Lead to Attempts to Control

We know the dark sciences and the deep state want to control people, populations, and “targeted audiences.” Whether or not they are successful, there appears to be little preventing them from attempting to establish control of people by inserting technology into their bodies, especially since there is such a delicious opportunity to experiment with inserting nanotech during the Great World Vaccination Drive of the COVID era.

Why not drive the technology “forward” by seeing what human bodies can tolerate or survive in the way of foreign objects and substances? Who knows? If the objects and substances are small enough, maybe we can slip them by the body’s defenses? And who is to say no? The ethics division at the National Institute of Health is manned by Dr. Anthony Fauci’s wife. So it behooves us to ask questions, lots of questions.

However, we must not succumb to the fear and terror propaganda that is certainly being salted into the mix of information we are consuming about possible mind manipulation. Those who wish to control us are using fear, promotion of false abilities, misdirection, and any other lies they can dream up to keep us frightened, intimidated, distracted, confused, and ineffective.

So, what can we do?

Team Freedom Needs to Speak Openly and Freely

We, those of us who are on Team Freedom, need to be able to speak freely. To exchange ideas, data, and perspectives.

We need to be disciplined enough to be present with the discomfort that comes with disagreement as we listen and communicate about all the critical issues of the day.

We are on the cutting edge of politics, science, liberty, medicine, public health, sociology, psychology, public relations, and civics. We are all looking around corners, into back rooms, and examining issues, practices, and technologies that are being shepherded into our cultures, our bodies, and our environment over which we have had no say.

We Have Had No Choice

We have had no choice about whatever is in the injectable liquids that are contaminating various medicines, including what is coyly called the COVID-19 “vaccines.”

We have had no choice about the substances put in our foods or our environments through geoengineering pollution or other forms of manipulations. We have had no choice about the use of energy frequencies like the 5G being launched. No choice about the littered landscape of Level 4 biolabs around the world. No choice about the engineered pathogens that definitely escape those labs from time to time, and no choice about whether they should be released upon the world for one reason or another.

We have no choice about being a member of the United Nations or a member of the World Health Organization, and of sustaining them through our tax dollars.

We aren’t being given any of these choices. Those topics are off the table, ‘Top Secret,’ ‘proprietary information,’ under “NDA” (non-disclosure agreement) or simply ‘embarrassing’ or a ‘distraction’ or a ‘trade secret.’

We have certainly had no choice about the manipulations of information that are being disseminated throughout our societies every day via the controlled media except to turn that media on, or off but much of it is impossible to avoid.

We have had no choice about the Department of Defense (DOD), the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and other alphabet agencies using psychological manipulation and propaganda to “win the hearts and minds” and if that fails, to control opinion and actions with foreign nations and foreign nationals. In reality, most of what goes on in the arena of experimentation on physical control of the mind is hidden behind the opaque Deep State curtain. Does the Deep State want to control? You betcha. Look back at the last four years. In country after country, especially the USA, all we see is control being exerted upon citizens, against tradition and constitutions.

We have no say in whether the DOD and the CIA, the CDC, and the alphabets are directing their propaganda machines upon U.S. citizens. Are their propaganda activities in the U.S. ‘biting the hand that feeds them?’ NO? Then what hand is feeding them?

Tell us, please.

Are We Free Without Debate and the Free Exchange of Ideas?

Push back. We must open our minds. Have lots of conversations, and lots of exchange of ideas, through essays, columns, via videos, zoom meetings, documentaries, debates, books, and live gatherings.

We know personally that there are those among us who have been very engaged in trying to steer and stifle the debate. The thought-terminating concept is ‘do NOT speak about that subject — it will discredit you and ‘the movement,’ and you will look like a fool.’ Another deterrent that stifles debate is ‘don’t disagree — we need unity in the freedom movement.’

A very big threat that has thrown a terrifying poisonous cloud over all of us is the dread of getting sued for $25 million dollars.

That is not freedom. That is control.

You Will Look Like a Fool….

There is disagreement about whether censorship occurred in Stockholm during the “Pandemic Strategies: Lessons and Consequences” conference held January 21-22, 2023. Dr. Astrid Stuckelberger was the last presenter for this conference, after which there was a closing panel made up of the afternoon group of speakers. That last panel included Astrid Stuckelberger, Geert Vanden Bossche, John Steppling (playwright), Pierre Kory, Richard Urso, Jessica Rose, and Philipp Kruse.

Dr. Stuckelberger’s talk was titled “From Biology to Population: Evidence-Based Public Health Situations: Analysis, Lessons and Next Steps.” “Censorship occurred at point C when I presented the results of nanotech and oxide graphene in the vials,” she told SGT Report. Her slide asked, “Is the content [of the vials] biological or not?” It is reproduced below.


Her primary point, as I understand it, is that the materials being found in the ‘COVID vaccines’ are non-biological in nature — they are synthetic biological matter. Therefore physicians examining and testing blood who are trained to view biological matter are going to miss the synthetic materials, both due to the small size and due to the compositions of the materials.

Dr. Stuckelberger posted a video clip later sent to her by an attendee that shows Dr. Cole up on the stage after Dr. Stuckelberger’s presentation. Though not listed on the final panel, Dr. Cole took the stage, gestured for, and was given a microphone by event organizers and then made “a real quick comment.” This was allowed even though Dr. Stuckelberger’s presentation was cut short by the organizers (they say because they were out of time).

“From what we’ve looked at, there are no nano chips. There is absolutely no graphene oxide in the hundreds of vials we’ve looked at,” declared Dr. Cole. Turning to Dr. Stuckelberger, he declared, “I respect that you did a beautiful presentation,” which appeared patronizing or at least awkward.

Dr. Cole said, “At the end of the day, to focus on freedom and focus on the wonderful freedom fight that we all have together is what matters. Other things are red herrings, and it’s not relevant, and it’s a distraction to our cause… Scientifically based on the analysis done, we respectfully disagree, having looked at what we’ve looked at as a group from Austria, as a group from the United States, and if we focus on freedom together, that’s what matters… but the rest of it makes us look a little like we are out there.”

Dr. Richard Urso added, “The lipid nanoparticle messenger RNA is so dangerous itself – It’s the number one thing right now that we know, the data is there….it’s affecting DNA damage repair, its affecting toll-like receptors and viral immune surveillance, it’s doing the blood clotting, it’s doing a lot of the things we already know, we have the data on it…” (At 3:15 on the video)

Doctors Cole and Urso both claimed “it’s not useful to our cause to put red herrings out there.”

The shortened last panel gave each speaker three minutes to summarize their views, and then the organizers said Dr. Stuckelberger and another presenter could not present as they were out of time. She was handed the mic anyway, and she said “they are afraid of what I am going to say.” Then she said that we are living in an apocalyptic time. “Corruption is not new, it has been there for ages, and it is time that we see it. We must all strive to become autonomous again and create autonomous communities. I wish you will build happiness and find ways to heal yourselves with natural remedies, and there are some. Try to build community with others who have the same spirit and heart as you,” she concluded.

Watch the videos. Look at the body language. Dr. Stuckelberger was body blocked by one of the local organizers, John Steppling, who loomed over her during Dr. Cole’s ‘explanation’ about why she should not present her data on the presence of nanotechnology in the blood. Dr. Kory came on stage and added his on-stage presence to the discussion. Doctors Kory, Cole, and Urso are among the pillars of Dr. Robert Malone’s medical juggernaut.

The upshot is that Dr. Astrid Stucklberger was interrupted, distracted, or body-checked by at least four men, including Dr. Cole, Dr. Vanden Bossche, John Steppling, and Dr. Kory, who also made his presence known when joining the others on stage.

The entire event was professionally filmed and posted online by conference organizers, the Swedish organization called The Doctors’ Appeal. The conference organizers also posted a two-page non-attributed paper titled “What happened at the conference.” The organizers assert that there was “no intent to censor Dr. Stuckelberger, nor place her in an awkward position at the end of her talk,” and they apologized “unreservedly for any animosity she may have experienced during the closing moments of the conference…”

But key moments of the controversy are missing from the official recordings documenting the period directly after Dr. Stuckelberger’s speech was abruptly ended and the final panel was convened. Another video emerged and is available, memorializing some of the missing minutes where Dr. Cole took the stage to dismiss Dr. Stuckelberger’s comments.

We first learned of the incident from happening upon Dr. Ruby’s interview of Dr. Stuckelberger.

Dr. Robert Malone and Dr. Daniel Nagase

Suppression of ideas also occurred during a November 3, 2021, Zoom call between a number of Canadian medical colleagues, including Emergency Room physician Dr. Daniel Nagase. Dr. Robert Malone, from the US, was also invited to participate in that group Zoom meeting.

Dr. Malone was telling Daniel Nagase, MD, in effect, don’t talk about reverse transcription and DNA integration in that 2021 Zoom meeting. Dr. Malone interrupted and said, “We’re under intense pressure… we have to be super careful about our messaging and what we’re stating…[it’s] not useful to speculate about things like integration” [of DNA from reverse transcribed RNA].

Imagine. If scientists, analysts, and the public had been able to speak, discuss, and argue, about these dangers, questioning which contents might be in the COVID ‘vaccines’ without being interrupted and silenced by others purporting to be on the side of freedom, what might we have accomplished at that time in convincing others to NOT submit to the toxic ‘COVID vaccines?’

Former Vice President of Pfizer, Dr. Mike Yeadon, has been especially eloquent and outspoken about the elite’s global takeover via the World Economic Forum (WEF) and World Health Organization (WHO).

In his comment, Dr. Yeadon echoed what many others have been saying and offering evidence about for some time.

Dr. Malone tweeted back:

“Show me the receipts or go home. Yeadon can talk like that all day long and get lots of clicks and likes. Preaching to the choir. But all it does is delegitimizes him with the persuadable middle. Do we want to win this, or are we just playing tiddlywinks? Proof or shut up.”


Dr. Malone’s insults toward Dr. Yeadon should be no surprise, given that he has so often attempted to silence or sully other freedom fighters, including Peter Breggin, MD, Ginger Breggin, Dr. Jane Ruby, Peter McCullough, MD, Harvey Risch, MD, Dr. Paul Alexander, The Wellness Company, Red State Media, America Out Loud, other independent journalists, Dr. Brian Ardis, Dr. Judy Mikovitz, Foster Colson, Clay Clark, Alex Berenson and others.

Since 2022, Dr. Malone has increased his attacks involving much of The Wellness Company, Dr. Alexander, additional independent journalists, and reformers. Dr. Alexander himself has exposed two key instances where Dr. Malone maligned and discouraged others from having relationships with Dr. Peter Breggin – once when standing in the halls of the U.S. Senate prior to testimony, and once in a Brownstone email list among Brownstone members.

Epidemiologist Paul Alias Alexander, Ph.D., is a Former Senior Advisor to Trump’s COVID Task Force and Former Advisor to WHO. He has courageously revealed in a recent substack column that during the Senate hearing that brought some of the top COVID critical scientists together, Dr. Malone was denigrating Dr. Peter Breggin, who was not present. Dr. Alexander reported:

“I personally heard him, Malone, at a Senate meeting in Washington D.C. verbally ridiculing and smearing the Breggins to other scientists present. They were not there to defend themselves as he bragged about his lawsuit of $25 million against Dr. Peter Breggin and what he was doing against them. We run in similar circles. I was surprised he would do that in the Senate building (we were called there by Senator Johnson to discuss COVID and issues), and he was talking about his lawsuit on [the] Breggins as if it were a joke and a game, a sport, with listeners standing around enjoying a laugh. He poisoned the well, so to speak. He was trying to get the listeners to agree with him, yet they had no idea about the minutia. He was bragging, and it repulsed me. A joke on Dr. Breggin, who has done more for America and this movement than Malone could ever do?” [italics added.]

The Biggest “Don’t Talk About That” Action

The biggest “Don’t talk about that” action to date has been the $25 million dollar lawsuit against Peter R. Breggin MD, Ginger Ross Breggin, and Dr. Jane Ruby. The threats of a lawsuit and the official demand letter centered around an intellectual sociological/psychological debate of the validity of the so-called ‘Mass Formation’ or Mass Formation Psychosis concept, which we will be revisiting again in a separate column. The lawsuit complaint itself morphed into a litany of false allegations of defamatory statements. Some of the statements Malone attributed to Dr. Breggin were never uttered by Dr. Breggin. We should all be aware at this time, four years into the takeover of the world, that those of us opposing the takeover are on the ‘outside.’ We are not part of the Good Club — the elite collection of billionaires and other entities who are implementing plans for controlling the world.

RFK apologises after private call with Trump leaked

Robert F Kennedy Jr has apologised after a video was leaked of a private phone call in which Donald Trump is heard apparently trying to coax the independent presidential candidate to support him.

“I would love you to do something,” Trump can be heard saying in the clip. “And I think it’ll be so good for you and so big for you. And we’re going to win.”

Mr Kennedy then says: “Yeah.”

Trump and Mr Kennedy, a longshot third-party candidate, are political rivals who have occasionally criticised each other during the campaign.

The footage is said to have been recorded on Sunday, a day before the pair met in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where the Republican convention is taking place, stoking speculation that Mr Kennedy might be about to exit the race and endorse Trump.

But Kennedy spokeswoman Stefanie Spear said on Monday that he was not dropping out.

Robert F Kennedy Jr posted on X on Tuesday: “When President Trump called me I was taping with an in-house videographer.

“I should have ordered the videographer to stop recording immediately. I am mortified that this was posted. I apologise to the president.”

It was Kennedy’s son, Robert F Kennedy III, who posted the footage online early on Tuesday.

The younger Kennedy said in the post on X, formerly Twitter, that he wanted to expose Trump’s “real opinion” on immunisations, but he swiftly deleted the clip.

Trump can also be heard in the video discussing discredited claims about the health risks of childhood vaccines, a longstanding concern for Mr Kennedy, but one which the scientific community has said is misinformation.

“I agree with you, man. Something's wrong with that whole system, and it's the doctors you find," Trump can be heard saying.

Also on Tuesday, Donald Trump Jr, the former president’s son, was asked about rumours that Mr Kennedy could join forces with the Republican presidential nominee.

Speaking at an event in Milwaukee, he said “maybe there’s a great place for him somewhere in an administration”.

Mr Trump Jr said he didn’t have any “inside scoop on that, certainly not now”, but he would “love to see that happen”.

Opinion polls suggest that Mr Kennedy could draw votes equally from Trump and the Democratic President Joe Biden, including in swing states, in this November's election.
