Today is the name day of St. Thomas Aquinas, the Italian Christian theologian/philosopher and one the greatest medieval scholastics tout court. I have been reading his work for years. It isn't always easy but it's always worth it in the end. You do need to start with an some introduction book though otherwise you'll quickly be overwhelmed.
