Just wanted to raise awareness on this antibiotic. It’s called minocycline which is the less preferred antibiotic to doxycycline. It is often prescribed and pushed by docs to help with acne, but has a contraindication of liver failure! The past 6 months have been hard on this family and they tried really hard to stay away from Go Fund Me type posts, but when they learned about COTA and their daughter’s chance of having a liver transplant right away, they hopped on quickly to tell her story!
