There is a place in Gulf of Alaska where two oceans meet but do not mix. Many have heard of it but few look up how this is possible or if it's even true.
While "two oceans meet" might be a cool name, it is false. The lighter water is from glaciers melting and having a light, cool and less salinity than the ocean they dont mix well or fast enough to combine.
