We had a nice gentle "Kona wind" come through yesterday that brought a seldom seen cloud pattern from the south. This is the view is taken from our dirt road that leads to the county road, it is looking towards Kaho'olawe, Molokini crater and famous Makena beach. The gentle breaze stirred eddies in the channel, but farther out there was an area that appeared almost glass like, and the shadow interplay between sea and these unusual clouds from the south was strikingly beautiful. I wish I'd brought my bigger camera, but I fooled around with some filters to get some of the contrast to pop a little more, and will try again with a bigger file some time soon.
