There are 3 aspects related to successful trading:

1.- mindset:

controlling your emotions and understanding the psychology of trading so you can remain level-headed and make good decisions

2.- precision:

The closer you get to finding reversal or continuation points with your analysis, the better trades you can take.

3.- risk management:

Maximizing profits with the lowest amount of risk possible is the key to staying in the game.

Being laid out, the third one is the most important of them all.

If you really understand how to manage your risk you can be profitable in your trading even without precision or the right mindset :flushed:

Proper risk management also helps you keep emotions in control (big emotions are the clearest sign that you’re taking on too much risk).

And it protects you from unexpected market moves or mistakes in your analysis.

If I had to pick one of these skills to master, it would be risk management for sure.

So that’s been my main focus for the past few months and I’m about to close my sixth month being profitable at trading.

I’m also working on getting more precision with my analysis to keep boosting the profits and minimizing risks as much as possible.

But as long as I limit my losses, I’m sure I’ll be able to remain profitable in perpetuity ????
