THAT I MAY KNOW HIM! [PHP. 3:10]
NOT ALL THAT GLITTERS IS GOLD!

17. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18. I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. (Rev 3: 17-18)
The scripture above isn't new,even to the average believer.
YET AGAIN, I NEED TO STRESS HERE AS I ALWAYS SAY THAT THE MESSAGE IS FOR US ALL...I MAY BE WORSE THAN ALL! BUT WE ALL NEED TO RESIST THE DEVIL AND HIS SUBTLETY.
Having said that,undoubtedly, even the most ignorant knows that we are not in the best of times. Even moreso for us in Christendom, for both pure and social sciences have evidently indicated that we are really fast approaching an unprecedented universal timeline. Of course, our compass as believers (God's Word), clearly proves we are in the last lap of the last church..yet, how long the last lap is, only God can determine.
14. And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
15. I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

The church has NEVER be more and proud than now.. the Laodicean church character. Today, wealth is seen as righteousness in churches, thus the lowly are sidelined.
5. Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. 6. But godliness with contentment is great gain. (1Ti 6: 5-6)
Pastors are fighting one another from their pulpits,meant to deliver God's expectations from His Children. Instead, they've been turned into podiums where each tries to prove and establish his scriptural superiority and whose level of anointing is more or heavier. ONE WAS EVEN TRYING TO PROVE THAT YOU DON'T NEED TO BE A CHRISTIAN TO MAKE HEAVEN, BECAUSE GOD WASN'T A CHRISTIAN.
And of course,SO MANY would be glad to hear that from a supposed God's general(name withheld)! That's how far we have come as Christians and believers.
The average christian's heart is set on mundanity. It's generally acclaimed and accepted that these highly rich and affluent churches are already topping the list of *SAINTS*.
Remember, those serving Satan are also rewarded, even if with pain. In the scriptures,none serve satan, without an everlasting injury or scar. We saw the ends of many such as Ahab,Jezebel, Ephraim losing his God given coveted position to Manasseh,but even the most painful being that of King Solomon's converting God's blessing into idolatry.
Even in the New Testament,we saw how Herod died on the spot and eaten up by worms after being slapped by God's angel, Judas hanging himself,Simon the sorcerer becoming blind untill he was prayed for. Saul who became Pauland many scribes such as Nicodemus were pursuing the devil's urgings until God had mercy and brought them in and became poor physically,but rich spiritually... extremely rich spiritually, BECAUSE TRUE WEALTH IS WHEN YOU'VE CHRIST JESUS IN YOU.
(Pro.10:22)! Only God's blessings addeth no sorrow.
The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up. (1Sa 2: 7)
He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD'S, and he hath set the world upon them. (1Sa 2: 8)
He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail. (1Sa 2: 9)
Thus,it certainly reeks of over confidence for our itchy eyed pastors who still feel unconcerned or probably thinking we are WRONG by SEEKING THEIR BACKTRACKING FROM THE IMMINENT DANGER AHEAD.
And as such,we are labeled with every known and unknown expletives they can lay hands on( personally,my drum of derogatory names is so filled,that I have developed a * thick skin*, by HIS GRACE alone).

3. Should thy lies make men hold their peace? and when thou mockest, shall no man make thee ashamed?
4. For thou hast said, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in thine eyes.
5. But oh that God would speak, and open his lips against thee;
6. And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that they are double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth. (Job 11: 2-8)
Please,let us remember where we are coming from,and where we are going to,THE END WILL NEVER JUSTIFY THE MEANS. GOD'S WORD WILL ALWAYS STAND,FOR HE HONOURS HIS WORD ABOVE HIS NAME.(PS 138:2)!
THE ALLURES AND THE TRAPPINGS OF THIS WORLD HAS TURNED MANY A MAN AND WOMAN, FROM GOD. THE DEVIL SEEKS ALWAYS TO BLIND OUR HEARTS FROM WHAT GOD HAS IN STORE FOR HIS OWN;
Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed. (Isa 6: 10)
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. (2Co 4: 4)
But I boldly stand here with confidence to declare that;
